Nell looks a lot like Ninetails from pokemon.
Nelly's got a different color, looks more wolf-like and doesn't have the mullet. But it still has the same number of tails as the pokemon and similar tail-tips so it's probably too similar to be allowed.

It is also the 9 tailed fox demon from Naruto, Kurama.
Not quite sure if there is a copyright problem since Japanese folklore does include multi tailed foxes as spirits and such...
