I think that preventing people form arena is a extremely stupid idea. If you are a top 3 player/team that wants to let others win, change your team, try a different build... take a break from arena. Do not FORCE people to do something. As a toon that's never finished in top 3, i want the top players to try and compete, where is the fun in something if you don't have to beat the top toon's?

Force may be to strong of a word to be used here. What is being discussed is a rule change. So in the sense that all should follow the rules there is an inherent compulsion
to follow the rules. Therefore, what is being presented as forced would simply be following the rules.

Upon further consideration, the best thing for S2 to do would be to give away the rewards if the winner so desires.

I have given away some rewards: but that has not helped at all. In fact, it has made things worse in some cases.

tbh, the way I see it is for S1 no one cares, it should stays the same.

S2 however you could just let them compete, get the drop, but when it comes down to getting the legendary, if someone has won one last season, just skip his name and give it to the next rank after him or her, the tcs however should go to what reflects the ranks, gives a fighting chance for others and wouldn't affect S1.

Seriously, pretty sure that would satisfy everyone, because as it stands the only reason people don't agree with this is "MUH S1!", and Sadoul once saying the tcs would be kinda lame not to get, but this way it just satisfy people and actually makes it more competitive for S2.

What's the point of participating in an arena season for legendary if they're absolutely impossible to get? Especially when it's like, one of the only way to get legendaries at all.

I mean I'm not even an S2 person but I can see it's just kinda silly.

How would you feel about having a build like MA with all the same items as he does fighting against people of s2 in which they can only use epics and maybe a few using legendaries, bet it would feel amazing, ohwait.

That's not being "good".

that's just having better gear than other and wtfpwning people, just try to complete against people of s1 using only epics lol.

rather it does the opposite, people don't want to compete for top 3 since it's just impossible since they lack the gear for them to remotely stand a chance, why making the strong stronger and leaving the weak in the dust and absolutely unable to compete?

Then again, you wouldn't know, you only play s1 and don't seem to understand the situation of s2 at all, lol.

Even the top players just don't care about that being implanted because they see in the long run it's just gonna kill the pvp/arena competition.

No I actually read what you said, but I use logic that if someone could do it, what's stopping me from doing it? If rhat one person could get LG item, so can I and everyone else. Sure, it's hard, but doable. Arena is not purely about gear either, it's about working with what you've got, best way you can. My gear is far from best, so is gear of my team, yet we managed to get top3 3 team seasons in a row. Just by working as a team, not by being godlike or having best gear of all the competitors

And actually, the situation on s2 would probably be motivating for me to try and be better rather than whine and cry to ban others so that i can compete. And I'm not just randomly saying that, but because it worked for me that way on s1 aswell. I was very far behind so many people since I try not to spend $, but overtime with hard work I managed to catch up to people that I thought I'll never even be able to. Just by getting 1 lg a time, slowly over the course of years.

Also, the purpose of what I said is not to point out how great or cool I am or wwhichever argument next you'll use against me, but since you said I don't know what I'm talking about, wanted to try and prove I do.

Were you around when pets couldn't be crafted? Were you around when a certain pet was 1-shotting people in arena sometimes before they could even see their opponent? Was that fun? Was that fun for the pet owner? Did people simply stop queuing when that person was online? Damn right they did. There's a difference between striving to be better and being a lemming. (and it's not a fine line)

People on S2 ARE working on being able to craft LGs. But even with Craftman class bonus it still takes about a month to passive from 89-90, 90-91, etc. Will it even out? Sure. Will it be fun until it does?

So easy Fix unequipped all Your Lgs leave them in storage and arena with gear every 1 has available to them... You all want more balance thats the quickest way to get it
