Racing Event!

i guess you are all sometimes bored of endless grinding. i have an idea to spice things a bit. not something fantastic but i find it fun to do with friends from time to time.

its simple, people ranging in close lvls register for the race, and pay 10x for it as example. lets say 4 people registered, they pay 40x and prize will be like 35x for the winner, or 40x, or might even have a lower prize for 2nd placed competitor. prizing system is totally decided by competitors so no need talk much about it.

races will take place between 2 or more towns, you might think people will cheat using recalls, to prevent that competitors will join contest referees' groups so their moves could be watched from map. since lotsa factors will effect outcome (route you use, lvl of climbing and exploring, speed of killing encountered mobs...) these races promise some fun, i guess.

you are also welcome to post your ideas about improved rules

that would be awesome! just one thing...the towns that you race through to would be deciding of the reward/entry fee. if you have like 500 ppl racing through t1-t6, the fee would be small, as you have many ppl playing. the winners would still gain a lot tho, as it would be 1st, 2nd, and third place

i dont think it will be possible to control that much people in a race

races will prolly be 10 people max, its hard to find trustable referees that wont be bribed i think

whatever, im planning to have a trial race tomorrow, probably between server time 12.00-15.00

lol of course i will arrange the race :] but maybe it would "inspire" glitch to implement "mounting pets"

surely TM would make it impossible for non prem players to compete?

tm doesnt improve travel at all it just saves rt while you travel

iv never had TM, i thought it just let u travel w/o mobs
