Well, if the rare monsters were only one level higher than others in the area, the ones on Traveller's Way would be grey to you, and you'd get nothing. But that's not the case.

Ah, and I think everyone would have a chance. If you take into consideration what I wrote above, you'll be of the same mind as me. Some have better equipment and can kill the mobs at levels close to theirs faster than other players (like the new ones, who usually have a little crappy equipment,) but their chances are still somehow similar.

As for everything else you wrote, I agree. I won't repeat myself about how hard it may be to implement such a thing (virtues as drops); it's been said twice in the thread - enough. I think that's what makes the idea impracticable.

Instead, these rare mobs could drop time cards, which can be done easily. I there shouldn't be anyone against the idea, maybe besides the people with payable accounts and those who bought time cards with real money. Anyway, what do you think about it?

If they dropped time cards, I would start farming for these on each of my three accounts about 2 weeks before my Premium ran out until I have enough time cards to get another 16 weeks of Premium time on each account. That would be 36 cards (12 each on 3 characters = 120 days = 17 weeks 1 day). I would not mind this as it would mean potential for perpetual free premium status.

Since most of us higher-ups would do this to keep our premiums, we'd be able to maintain our advantages over the newcomers without having to put forth much effort. Also it would most likely drive the prices of time cards down severely, which in turn would mean eventually I would just let low and mid level players farm time cards, and buy them for trivial gold when it is no longer more efficient to just do the work myself.

It's already that way Matt, I have not bought any time cards with cash, yet I have 8 of them right now.

If you can kill so fast creatures that aren't grey to you, I'm damn impressed. In that case, time cards as drops is a bad idea. And I agree with Adamska. Getting time cards for high levelled players isn't probably much of a problem (since you can get one for 50k gold, if not less.)

Let's presume you're right, though. Then, such drops can't be allowed. If so, there's probably no way of getting virtues through killing rare monsters.
