Multiple Mob Mode
I know fighting multiple mobs has come up before. Thought I'd try it again.
Legendary Mode
In Legendary Mode, you fight three mobs at the same time. These are any three of the mobs normally available in that zone, to include a random boss. If the square is a static boss square and you or someone in your group still needs the boss, then you get to fight three bosses.
You earn normal combat XP as soon as you kill the first mob. You earn 110% of normal combat XP as soon as you kill the second mob. You earn 120% of normal combat XP as soon as you kill the third and final mob.
You only receive trophies and drops if you kill all three mobs; i.e., if you flee the battle before killing the third mob, you receive no trophies or drops.
The first mob gives normal trophies and drops. You receive a 10% trophy and drop bonus for the the second mob, and a 20% bonus for the third mob.
Advantages
Unless you are fighting mobs well above your level, fighting a mob is usually not very challenging. In Legendary Mode, you are fighting three mobs simultaneously. That's three mobs attacking you, which should be much more of a challenge.
This would also make the Archer's Arrow Rain skill useful against mobs, as well as the gems that attack all enemies. While the gems are currently useful against a single mob, you don't have the opportunity to experience their full value. Arrow Rain is totally useless against a single mob; it only has value now in the Arena or in multi-player duels.
The player would have the opportunity to earn additional XP, trophies and drops in Legendary Mode, making it worthwhile to do so.
This could also encourage more players to group up for fighting instead of usually playing solo. All members of the group fighting in the same square would have to be in Legendary Mode, otherwise the battle would be in normal mode.
Legendary Mode and Heroic Mode could be on at the same time, giving the player the advantages (and disadvantages) of both.
TJ
Edited to change title from legendary mode to multiple mob mode.

Gaining experience upon defeating the first of the three enemies could be problematic. *Poof* - Now you've gained a level and have a cumbersome stat window to deal with.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.
Just repeat for multiple effects.
DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

I support the idea, but I don't think "Legendary Mode" should be the this thread's name or the way to refer to fighting x2 and x3 mobs. Unless this can incorporate Legendary items and equipment, which have been tipped off to us, it's misleading.

Monsters attack 3 times faster and have 3 times HP
Drop 3 times the trophies have 330% exp
and 3 times the drop rate
when arrow rain happens it is 3xDamage
takes 3xDamage from AoE Affects

I support.
But Relic suggested something like this ( Multi Mob Concept) and Glitchless said it would be very hard to implement

Thank you Sapreaver and Thatperson. Your comments have absolutely nothing to do with this topic, other than Thatperson's most recent comment that Glitchless LLC has previously indicated that this general concept is not going to be implemented anytime soon.
If you don't have something constructive to say about a topic, please don't troll the forums just to disrail useful discussions.
Thank you.

Why is an archer who claims archers are terrible pve asking for harder pve battles?
Edit: Nvm, archers have AoE talents

Devon, go away. Or grow up and get a life. You don't have a clue what you are talking about, and I'm growing very, very tired of putting up with you. Make a constructive comment, or please be quiet.

I like the idea. It would add depth to the game which is seriously lacking atm. The xp wouldn't be an issue especially if you have to kill all 3 mobs in order to get anything at all.

Yes, any difference in the daily grind would be nice.
