Fletching
Well, like the title of this thread implies, I'd like to know about Fletching. Seeing as how I'm a Ranger and all, I decided I wanted to become a fletcher.
What Resourcefulness skill should I pick? I was thinking Woodcutting...not sure how useful that'll be though.
Any tips on this subject would be much appreciated. As you may have noticed, I have NO idea on what to do.
Thanks in advance!

There is always one way of getting some more information: DisMantle a couple of Archery Equipment pieces, and get the Recipes to create some Consumable Recipes.

Thanks for the tips Adamska!
And how do I make the Consumable Recipes exactly?

You usually need a Quill (tool bought in T1), sinew (resource gotten from decayed trapping results), Dye (foraging and dyeing), cloth (silk from drops used with a spinning rod and loom), and then the master recipe.
The level of the resources needed varies by the level of the item, and Epic items require some unique ingredients, such as Amethyst Dust (gotten from dismantling epics).
After you create the consumable recipe, you can use it to actually create the item, and this is where the "Crafting" skills come into play. You will need to have a different set of resources combined with the consumable recipe to create the item and varies greatly by what is being created; to find what you will need, you will have to mouseover the consumable recipe.

I need to make a guide on some crafting, cause I have three premium characters, and therefore can diversify which crafting I can do; where most people are limited by the restrictions.

I'd definitely appreciate that guide, Adamska!
Thanks again. Wow, crafting is a lot more complex than I thought...
But, that just makes it all the more rewarding!

@Adamska: I see. I can already envision the economy a few months down the road. It should be fun.
EDIT: 16 hours a week? Dang man...that sucks...
Ok...looking forward to the guide! Take your time!

Ok, for right now I would just recommend using Flashus's site as a reference until I can get a more detailed guide up. Haven't had much time this week with working 16 hours a day, plus I am not really gonna get into hardcore crafting until I get like level 20, cause nobody will buy the early crap anyway.

Yea, he has most of the info up to the fourth tier on most resource types. I am going to get my char level up so I can passive past the lower levels, to find what types of resources you need for different types of crafting.
I am already working on an Enchanting guide...can really vary a lot depending on what order you put the items in the tool's boxes.

Every time you use the same resources on the same sides, you get the same results. I have not seen a correlation between the Positive and Negative effects, as even just switching sides has changed the stat it effects even.

I will have to upload the spreadsheet that I have so far. The only solid tip I have for enchanting right now is that the lowest level resource used in a pair determines the Positive/Negative Stat changes (Tier 1 = +1/-1, Tier 2 = +2/-2)

That wasn't what I had meant in the previous post, I meant that is the only constant I can find in enchanting.
