Default Chain Cast

Idea of level 80 skill Advanced sleight of hand or Chain cast.

When you get sleight of hand have X% chance to cast again. Each cast in the chain has the X% chance of causing another to go off.

I like this idea... so, if i understand this correctly:

IF a double cast goes off, there is x% chance of a 3rd cast, then again x% chance of a 4th cast, then again x% chance of a 5th cast, etc. etc. etc.

This could make for crazy crazy crazy casts, once in a blue moon

yes good idea! doublecasts for 7k are not good enough (according to casters they are underpowered in PvP). let's make it so casters can hit 100k crits. Unless this skill would affect DoTs too, and the % would diminish each round for DDs, no support.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.

Just repeat for multiple effects.

DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

To make this fun for Melee there could be a level 80/85 skill called Fury or Whirlwind where you get the chance on double hitting to keep going too. Chain melee attacks.

i dont really like the idea since all classes would need a similar skill and pets would need a buff since they dont get any doubles (unless you count the 1% they can get from a bow)

pets do not need any buffs ... 1 gator can crit just as high as my 2h'er can... 1 of 2 pets... not to mention any actual damage done by whips...
