Epic/Rune Alternative

While there may not be very many epics right now and the chances of getting an epic piece that you currently have (or currently have better equipment in that slot) are quite slim, some time in the future that could be a possibility. While I don't know the full range of update ideas you currently have, I have thought of something that could be a pretty cool alternative than just selling the epic that you don't need.

An option to dismantle the Epic into a Rune that requires the same virtues and has either an effect of the same or partial effectiveness as the initial epic equipment. At present, epics that you don't need or can't use are just auction fodder for others to drool at or purchase. With something like my suggestion, it would give users an alternative to simply putting an epic on the market. Even if Epic to Epic Rune had to be a feature only available to premium accounts, required a steep skill level, or was a skill that could only be obtained through purchase, it would still be a nice idea to know that we can do something other than sell them.

If we get a Rune that we don't want to use or don't like, then it can be auction fodder, but the possibility of getting something else as opposed to something we currently have or can't use is a nice sentiment that I'm sure several players would enjoy by the time Runes are implemented.

Any thoughts/opinions from the players? I'd like to hear what others in the Nodiatis community think of this, even if Jeff has other things planned.

Not a bad idea, but I have been using my Epic drops for something else that I don't want to disclose at the moment.
