Another of many lists of things we think Nodiatis needs to be a better game and not die out like some crappy french game.
Here are my opinions. Post if you disagree or have others:
1) More Active communication between GM and consumers (players).
reason: We used to have in game interactions with Jeff all of the time. When I first started. He would make fun of people (he still does this on the forums and with his little blurbs before server resets). We could ask questions and usually get precise answers on the forums. Now they are more general and not always backed up by factual evidence. Glitchless wishes it could be glitchless, but is far from it and doesn't take criticism well.
2) More dynamic content.
reason: Since I have played, we have never had any events commonly found in other games of similar types. I can understand not coming up with event specific unbalancing items to give players like halloween custumes, christmas or other religios/country specific hollidays. but things like "New Years" "Summer" "Cold as *&@! Winter" etc Events. Or just monster events that dropped special higher than normal trophy loot or non trophy loot. A day where Jeff (Glitchless) runs around PKing players and players all chase him all over the map to get him. Anything. Why does Nodiatis have to seem like such a job in a cubicle where nothing exciting ever happens ? Why can't the devs get involved with their own game and have some fun. Hey Jeff. Are you alergic to fun? I'm sure Nikita could use a "Hawaiin Tshirt Friday" more than anyone else in the world. Someone please pass her a cupcake and give her a hug.
3) Doing what you say you will do
reason: when Heroic mode was introduced, we were PROMISED Legendary/Heroic mode only drops. we waited and waited for the Heroic mode update but found out it was only a cheap way to burn more RRT without any real benefit. Who wants MORE epics on the market anyway? Since when are game developers politicians? "I PROMISE NO NEW TAXES" - Gee why has my income tax return gone from 3000$ to 20? Hmmm
4) Having Time stamps on updates;
reason: Territory control Update. Told upcoming patch is due . Ambiguous statement on what it was about. No date given. This was March. Its August now. No territory control patch and now we are told of another pending patch before the old one was even released. If a patch is abandoned, tell us. Keep us in the loop. We wanna know. Since nothing interesting happens in Nodiatis. EVER. We are like little ravenous crows waiting for someone to screw up and get banned, something to happen new, or someone we can all unitedly hate.
5) Stop changing major game mechanics after players invest considerable Time/Effort/Money into it.
reason: lets be honest, the game mechanics change more dynamically than the actual updates. Today Archers are uber. Tomorrow Shield users, Tuesday Piercers, Friday casters. Nerfs are rampant. Fix everything all at once. A FANTASTIC WAY to find out if your game is working is to actually play it. Give it a try Glitchypoo. Make an Archer. Fight a whipper. Make a caster, fight a shield user. You can do it. You have ze power. We won't mind if you play our game. In fact we encourage it.
6) The easy fix isn't always the good fix.
reason: we can count. We do count. We know something feels broken because we have been playing this game for a very long time. If you change something, let us know honestly what you did. Example: You can no longer drop your travel gear from inventory to storage to prevent players from trapping themselves or exploiting travel gear bosses. Of course we can still do those things since you can just replace an item from storage to inventory to circumvent the piss poor patch. A proper patch would have been a seperate inventory page for travel gear since it serves no real purpose. Sorta like an accomplishments window. "Travel gear Obtained" Where nothing can be moved. Whats the point of travel gear having weight? It serves no useful function and just hinders the game and presenting the game with these exploits. Not only that, it lets higher level characters "PUSH" low lvl alts by selling advanced travel gear such as compass or Advanced climbing gear"
7) Functional To Do list.
reason: this goes along with the first item on the agenda. Keeping players in the loop on the future of the game we enjoy. If you are finished updating Nodiatis for a few months because your off to Ukraine to get (censored) from some (censored: Bad Ladies) at Arena City strip club, let us know. Not only will we shout out high fives for doing something we wish we were, but we will know not to expect any new content. if your attention is focused on RWK, then let us know. If you just don't care about us anymore, let us know so we can go enjoy starcraft 2 or some other game where the staff does care.
8) Ninja patching has got to end.
When its 3am in the morning and we are all half awake farming the same monster we have been farming for 3 days straight, you can't just come online, shut the server down and give us excuses like this:

Let us know what you're doing! "I'm restarting to clean up the server mess on my end. Nothing interesting folks. Back to your boring crap" would have been better. Otherwise if you don't tell us what you are doing. We start thinking. Let me tell you. When you play a tedious monotonous updateless game for a long time, you u have alot of time to think. Thinking is bad. Thinking makes us come up with ideas. Bad ideas. So when you don't tell us what you're doing, we get our own ideas. "OH GOD, He just changed something BAD and isn't telling us"
Most of the problem is lack of communication. We used to have it. Now we don't. Fix please.
