More chat options

Local chat, no / command - chat with anyone on your square. Change NAME says to local chat and use an actual whisper text for whispers.

Also make shift+enter into shout chat, or at least make the default chat into /g rather than /group to remedy the irritation of deleting so much every time one would like to shout.

Just start the line by typing "/" for /s...

Lots of people, myself included, are used to hitting a key before typing.

Not me, I got to disable my hotkeys before I can type.

i have another suggestion. I personally like the ignore under 5 option, but it would be nice if we had an option to set the level where we wanted it, like 10, for example. Im getting a little tired of "woot, i killed scortchedlands boss" every 10 minutes.

I think the higher level the general population becomes, the more "ignore under level x" options there should be.

it should just be a /ignore 10, /ignore 13, option so that you can adjust it to whatever you want it to be at.

sounds fair but then you should also be able to disable it with the same command as you might need to talk to lower lvled people sometimes in regards to trades and that sort thing

I was surprised that there was so many people shouting in this game until I realized there was no local chat.

A local chat could facilitate trading in cities, grouping in the wilderness or simply general communication.

I agree about local chat, too. I wants it.
