Of Timecards and Other Things...
Hi guys!
Well, being my first post and all, I think a small introduction is needed.
My username in this forum is also the name of my main character, a (at the moment) level 5 Ranger named Windslash.
Ok...that aside, time to talk about the topic at hand:
If you've seen me in-game, you should know by now that Windslash is a free account. So, the question is...
What do you guys think a timecard is worth in game currency/trade?
Post your opinions here.
(Perhaps this is more appropriate in the Auction House, but I want to know what the timecard sellers expect to earn in such a sale first, so I can work towards it, if it's a crafted item, for example)
Also, I can't end this first post without giving praise to Jeff. This is a hell of a game and it's got me thinking about subscribing (I'm very stingy when it comes to subscriptions, so this is a compliment. ).
Thanks in advance for your feedback on the subject!

Welcome Windslash!
As the timecards were just introduced, it may take a while for prices to even out; I have not even seen any example prices so far.
And as for subscribing, you definitely should. Glitchless/Jeff are great at what they do and deserve some support, plus you get some kick ass upgrades.

Thanks for the reply Adamska!
Hmm...I'll guess I'll have to wait until the prices stabilize then.
As for the upgrades, the ability to trade and 1 extra hour of RT are pretty good.

Assume for now that at a cost of 4.99 per card you will be paying anywheres from 5000 Gold-10000 Gold factor in the advantages you gain to having a free account versus a paid account increased expeirence gains faster ability to gain gold because of trade ability so on so forth as the market starts to stablize you will see the prices range from 2500-6500 respectfully.

@TalesofPirates: Cool! Thanks!
5000-10000 Gold isn't so bad.
I sure hope it's somewhere around that area.

Honestly, with the increased capacity for earning gold, I would say time cards would go for about 10k gold minimum when prices stabilize... still, though, that is not a bad price.

Considering in 2hours of RT I can usually bust out 2k+ and most days, an item of some description (be it from a boss, or monster drop) worth 1k+, I'd say 5k is nothing for one of these. 10k maybe, 15k more reasonable.
