Useless Taunts

So from what i understand taunting is utterly useless against 3 AoE Casters. If the whole point of a taunt is to tank the damage for others then what is the point of taunts against AoE Casters and Archers' Arrow Rain? I could be taunting and have my friend molested by a 2k+ Magic Crit or an arrow.

Someone please explain to me how Casters and Archers can just say "Screw your Taunts, TRIPLE KILL MOFO!!!!"

I understand that Arrowrain is rare for Archers as opposed to AoEs being 100% without including the Resist factor but there is a miss factor for archers.

This is not a whine thread or a nerf AoEs and Arrowrain thread. Would just like to see Taunts not be a joke to them.

Also question. Can i Deflect an arrow shot at me with Arrowrain if i am not the one targetted or does it do "splash" damage like AoE magic? lol but serious question.

Cool Idea would be making Taunts prevent Arrowrain and AoEs but that wouldnt be realistic or fair but a good start.

Anyone else find it kinda unfair that they can triple kill (especially casters) or how they can bypass taunts?

Paster, use some strategy and look at the entire picture instead of just a little piece.
You aren't supposed to just stand there and die or let your allies die, do something about it and develop a plan/strategy. I wish Glitchless didn't post here helping you out, you didn't deserve it.

The only thing you should be complaining about is your lack of intelligence and/or motivation to try, not AoE spells and Arrow Rain.

Also find you questioning my intelligence ironic seeing as how you two cant read.

Also the strategy would be good if it wasnt possible to kill an entire party in 3 casts and with a 25% chance of mirroring and deflecting makes it impossible with badluck

lol you guys are hilarious. The strad of having a tank group taking on casters may work, but with having dmg halved the casters have a chance at getting some gems through the "shields/2hr". Combining auras, reflect or even mirror gems, provokes, and tank(s) is your best bet since a DWer could never match a casters DPS.

Your exaggeration of taunting being 'useless' is.

Proving Relic doesnt know jack schitt. Shields dont do what you think idiot. Even Glitchless was wrong and who was right? ... Could it be the person with poor intelligence? YES!

No one tanks with a 2H also so cant use that either. No Testudo or Blocks or use awesome whip healing.

Shield deflects AoE casts to only the caster, while the incidental redirect gem hits the whole enemy group
