Default Please Allow Travel Gear to be put into Storage

Since there are already known workarounds allowing this (unless they're going to be patched), please allow travel gear to be easily placed into storage -- at least into town storage, if not wilderness. I assume most "idiots" are dropping it on the ground somewhere, and not in town...

Why should I have to lug every piece of travel gear I own around with me at all times?

I have no desire to carry a 10 rock raft with me everywhere I go, let me keep it in T2 and pull it out when I feel like going downstream... yes I realize it is superceeded by lighter items, its just an example.

dont change it.

you have people bitching cause they dropped it out of town and cant get it back.

and now you have people bitching cause they cant drop it.

Mouvar. simply put this is a great update. it stops bitching. you dont want to lug it around do 2 things:

1) get your pack mule and backpacking up so you can scroll your inv, and put them on the 2nd page so you dont have to see em.

2) raise your decumberance so you can hold more ****.

I understand, it just don't make much sense from an rpg perspective that I have to perpetually carry a raft on my back and can never drop it until I sell it.

It would make more sense if you weren't allowed to drop item X in zone Y if zone Y requires item X to enter it.

If this change was made "To prevent a potential travel exploit involving arenas", then those exploits are still going to exist since there are existing work-arounds to get those items into storage. Also unless a data migration is ran to force all existing in-storage travel gear into inventory (which one hasn't, yet), then one can assume those same exploits still exist...

unless the exploit wasnt with the travel gear being in storage, but the act of putting them in there causes the exploit.

Good point. I'll just learn to live with the new system I guess and not join ranks with the bitchers. Although now we can't laugh at them for stranding themselves.

Glitchless please stop trying to dummy proof the game. if idiots want to not learn the rules and the way things in the game work, than lets just agree they are just too stupid to play.

i for one dont want a game that dosnt have choices, if i want top put my gear down well than i should be able to, i mean really whats next? (oh Glitchless i lvled my character and he still sucks) "oh thats ok we will just put in a auto cycler with option to choose what class you want to lvl"

i mean really why not just incorperate a bot so evenyone can just sit back and watch game play without requiring any thought

Nodiatis is a equil oppertunity community just like walmart now, hey where is the door greeter "duh um hi ahh welcome ta dah um Nodiatis"

im sure this patch had more to do with "selling" travel gear drops than to prevent idiots from getting stranded

i believe it was to stop an exploit with arena.

which i love, cause that means that they are actually testing things to make sure the bugs are ironed out before it is implemented, if that means we have to wait an extra day or 2 to get it, then im 150% fine with that.

and i honestly dont know why people put travel gear in storage. to me its just something that has to stay in my inventory, the same as the armor i use, i have to put up with the weight of them.

Best solution = make travel gear weightless and not occupy standard backpack slots (e.g. give everyone four additional slots -- possibly only able to be used by travel gear).

This should make everyone happy.

as for it being weightless ...no

extra slots would be a good addition imo but not likely unless they add as a paid feature
