multiple builds

as the 3v3 arenas are coming up the importance of tanks healers and damage is slowly coming out but a person built for maximum healing potential wont do very much damage so it would be hard for this person to farm solo a tank is designed to take damage and dish out middle ammounts of damage while the damage people will have the upper hand in farming making them the main choice for everyone


my suggestion is this
have the ability at level 40 to open up a second build panel at a cost (lets say 1 mil for now)
this panel lets you level all new stats starting at lvl 40 (or whatever your level is when u purchase this panel) on each (able to dlvl to 1) so that when you start with this new build you wont be completely dead

for example johndoe has stats 140 17 1 1 (deciding to go 140 140 39 1 at cap so he can use gems also) ...he pays 1 mil and he gets a second window which all stats are 40 40 40 40

his first build is focused on maximizing DPS and he decides to make this new one for tanking so he goes 17 1 140 1 (deciding at cap to be 39 1 140 140)
as you can see the DPS build would be much better for farming than the tanking build but the tanking build could take much more damage


new we have janedoe who is a priest stats 40 100 20 1 (100 140 79 1 at cap) so that she can farm well and decides that as a priest in the 3v3 arenas being a healer would be best

she decides to change her build to 79 79 1 1 (140 140 1 39 at cap) since heals arent affected by cnc/int all of the points are in pst/mst
obviously the second build would be able to do almost nothing against mobs but would be a valuable asset in the 3v3 arenas

DISCLAIMER: the builds represented in this thread are not actually a good idea to build ur character as they are the extremes of each type of build possible


for all the people who are gonna say this is what alts are for think about how you are gonna get trophies for those alts who have no damage skills or are you gonna make ur main suffer?

not sure....so basically you are rerolling but @ lvl 40......n ya keep all yer stuff, just stat skills r 40 . I dont think anyone would use it...

think it would be unfair tbh it would be like having an alt which u didnt pay for making people who have paid to lvl alts annoyed

maybe they can instead link alts or something like that
or you lose all your stats and skills and you lose all the bonuses you have bought with cash.... pretty much making it an alt hence making it pointless.

either way i look at it its gonna be unfair or pointless

not rerolling you can go back to your old stat panel at any time it would be like equipment sets but with stat panels so that u could change ur build in between 2 extremes without having to completely restart

and yoky look at the last paragraph

i didnt say this is what alts are for i said that its unfair because u effectively get an alt but with much less effort and cost

specifically u dont need to buy upgrades such as accel or premium/standard time making it unfair to those that have already got an alt
also if u dont need to buy upgrades means less money for them...
