Upcoming Patch: Clan Territory Control

Didn't you read the patch properly? Arena fights will give way less territory and dominance than wars so don't think that's an alternate to gain terr or dominance..

you need to think, at the moment the arena is open 24/7 and you can fight as much as you want, aslong as you want, and as many times as you want, aslong as there is people to fight against. currently, with a 10 man faction and all within the range that you are able to force on, and all slutting for you 24 hours a day, with you being on for 24 hours you can kill them a whole 960 times a day.

now thats optimal, realistic your not going to have all 10 people on for 24 hours a day, maybe for around 12 hours, which means that thats a max of 380 times, now cause of human error lets say instead of challenging every 15 min, its every 20 min so you have time to go to teh toilet aswell, thats now down to 360 times. and then cause your slutting it may take 1 min to fight and then exit after winning. that takes it down to 342 times.

Sooo IF you have 10 people online for 12 hours, (we all know that the average player would be on for a max of 4-6 hours a day) they are all slutting and not moving from the comp, you are looking at 342 times a day, which at cap is (all of them are at lvl 80) 27,360 ter and dom.

thats total. lets say with arena you get 50% of the gains you get from a war.

lets say a clan of 9 people, all at cap aswell same as before, fight in the arena.

they do it for 12 hours, and each fight lasts 2 min for fight and regen, (they are groups of 3s mind you) thats 1080 battles, lets say 3 min for toilet breaks, which makes it 720 battles.

at cap, thats 28,880 ter and dom, which is more then they would get with DOUBLE the gains doing a fake war.

this is all hypothetical though, as no numbers are known yet. but i hope you can see that roughly the arena will work out better, optimally, then a slut faction.

and if brackets are added to the arena, then all players can fight and it works out ALOT better then wars for lower lvl clans.

as far as the actual patch........i think it sux....i pay taxes when when i farm already, i pay taxes when i buy/ sell in AH.....i dont wanna pay another clan tax to be able to farm somewhere

im sure im not alone in this thought......if this game has come down to who has the deepest pockets (after all, this a FREE MMO) then i need to find another game to play

it has been a fun 18 or so months, but i refuse to pay another clan to walk out of a town a do what this game is set up for, farming......so, if/when this patch goes lives, i will take all my paid accts PK, and resign from playing....gratz on totally FAWKING this game up, it used to be fun, but the recent patches have taken a turn for the worse

dude we dont know exactly who it is going to work, for all you know the tax could come from the game, it could be for selling items to stores, or something like that. until we know exactly what the go with the patch is, saying your gonna quit and all, is ****ing retarded and it shows you as a drama queen

and oh Smash i am sorry if i wanted the game to at least make a lil' sence but for all i care Glith can make it so we all fart magical fairy dust, and oooops i must have misinterpited the descriptiond for the patches as i didnt realize this was all for only the best clan?
wel than i retract my statements about wanting the game to make sence and replace it with why is Glitchless wasting all this time on all the nonsence? why not just delete all the clans and make Chaose capacity unlimited and just put them in control of nod? seems it would be alot simpler....

actually i dont care what Glitch does just figured would be nice if game had some structure and meaning to it instead of just grabing stuff out of thin air, i know its not real but come on at least make it have a explanation for things .

there will be different ways to earn ter and dom, and thats through teh arena, which means that alt wars wont be used as much to get them, especially since most of the top clans will have alot of people participating in these battles and earning alot of ter/dom that way.

if you dont like it, then compete, dont sit there and ****ing bitch cause you cant do what they done.

in a war irl, both sides own their land, but cause they already own it you can say they start at 0 to make it fair but during the war they will collect new territory and gain dominance over those that live in that area. I assume that is the same as the way the game works, so yes it is realistic, you just need to think.

ex: as per your comparason, lets say country a with alot of territory and domm invades country b which has nothing , but you keep gaining more ans more domm and terr from waring with them how does that work? i see you only being able to gain what they have and thats it but here just throw more fold at it and get as much Terr and Domm as you want....argue all you want but i am not arguing or bitching just pointing out a fail system thats all.

but ya game is starting to just look alot like all the other games out there in the respect that the one who throws the most irl money in it wins and i thought it was about the stratagy of building the best clan or toon not only overall but even for your lvl range.... oh well i have been wrong before
