Ads Gone Temporarily
In the future there will be an ad on the top and bottom of Nodiatis. We are considering making the ads hidden for premium users.

I have a standard account and I really dont like to see adds...If for this I have to pay 50 bucks....well then I will reconsider playing this game...
I mean..common man...I know you need money but greed is bad thing... I almost gave up the game when I saw that for using epics we need to pay $
SO to sum it up:
If there are adds for standrad accounts I will be leaving this game and would ask for refund for the remaining time and virtues bought.

Whoa nancy boy. Let's not get over-excited. I meant premium and standard accounts don't see any ads! Now we're talking.

That works - ads should be disabled for subscription accounts.
Also, I think it would work better with ads to the left and right of the game window, since there tends to be more space on those sides.

Or you might consider something like they do in a game called 2 Moons, where they have ads in the game, but you can disable them at your option.
If you choose not to disable them, however, you get a small xp bonus.
I second Camli's idea of having them on each side instead of above or below the game interface.
Personally I wouldn't mind having ads on each side if I got a 1% xp bonus out of it, and I have a premium account.

Jeff, hire Mehul Patel to run the financial aspects of the game :P
j/k. Anyway, I too would favor having the option to have ads at 1% exp bonus for paid accounts per visible ad. Maybe like... 1% for standard, 2% for premium, and if we visit an ad, we get an extra minute of RT, up to five extra minutes per day. Thus, maximum of five ads viewable for anyone.

Incentivising ads is not going to happen, it generates empty clicks and isn't fair to the advertisers.

Yeah... If I were to start a browser based MMO then I would have ads, and yeah, from the monetary standpoint, those ads would produce a lot of empty clicks if they were incentive based. For example: On MafiaCrime, you get points and money for voting for the site on various MMO rating sites. I found out that you didn't even have to vote, just click the links, so I never voted, just clicked, closed the new window that opened, clicked the next link, etc.
And it's not fair to the advertisers who pay by the click, as the empty clicks don't generate any revenue for them.

Hmm..I guess I will let this go... but however a few hints:
1) Should I be able to read your mind in order to know what u mean with your posts? I think no.
2) I dont see any form of "over-exciting" What I posted was that if paying members had to see ads I would cancel my subscription.
3) If I were you I would restrain from using terms such as "nancy boy" to identify person that pays for the game to keep runing . Just a friendly advise, you know?
Peace

Nomad, i hardly doubt you alone keep the game running. last i checked, there are at least 30 chars, other than yourself, who have at least a standard account.

Rising post count, huh?
Please read a post carefouly before answering it.
In no place have I stated that I am the ONLY person that pays.
What I DID say, among other things, was that I am a paying consumer of Glichless and Jeff's way of answering me was not apropriate.

then perhaps you should have said "to identify any person who pays" otherwise, it seems as though you are talking about yourself, and only yourself as a paying consumer. thats all i was saying.
