simple ideas to improve the game..
Well here's my little list of ideas..
1.) Increase epic gem drop rate for lower level gems (not sure how low they go, but they are 100% usless for me to even bother to buy for any of my characters.. Considering if your lucky enough to find a low level gem on the AH that you can even use..it (most of the time) will cost just as much as a gem 3-4 ranks higher..
I've looted maybe a total of 20-22 epics and only ONE was a gem, and it was on some random free account. And it wasn't even that great compared to the reg gems of its level..
2.) Fix your PvP system. It's not bad how it is, but really there is no great benefits to PK'ing.. I mean say a level 15 goes killing, its not as if he can even fight anyone his own level.. so he's killing down 2-5 levels most of the time. And getting killed by level 40+.. How the hell is this by ANY MEANS fair?!. It isn't, the rewards are great for playerkilling yes.. But that 3x exp, is not worth having lose everything because some no-lifer is going around all noob zones checking for PK's. Make barrier's for engaging in PvP combat that can cost you your life, say perhaps 5-15 levels? Would encourage way more people to try it, and it would also add way more balance to the game.
3.) Quests Quests Quests.. Someone said something about it in another thread.. Maybe, make each square on your map blank/black until you walk it.. Also the idea of having an NPC in each area and another boss who does NOT have a static location..but also only drops the "boss" item once. which is really just used to prove you killed the boss to the NPC who told you were he was.. maybe give them higher loot rates (cash and items) and possibly a boosted chance to loot epics (it works because there is no solid spawn, only an area with a boosted chance to encounter the boss.. and the boss should be a level or two higher than the regular boss for the zone)
4.) Elemental effects/enchantments (perhaps even a quest where you can choose to become a "Novice" of a certain elemental then eventually move up the chain
Novice -> Acolyte -> Adept -> Enlightened
lvl 20--------lvl 40-----lvl60------lvl 80
2%--------4%----------8%---------15%
This could even be a learning skill, you could chose 1 element to "master" which as you move up allows you to create stones (say Emerald for green magic, Diamond for white, etc etc) that anyone could use on their weapons/armors to buff them versus bosses.
Prehaps these skills could even give you a natural weakness/strength to certain types of magic..
have more just cba to type it all atm
5.) Time Stamps included in chats, simple but very convenient.
