Yea i just checked the skills of all Magic types and if i am not mistaken (i could be i didnt spend alot of time looking) but there is no specific boost to Grey or White DD gems. Leaving Enchanters (i think) and Angels screwed.
Inferno boosts red DD .35% and Blue .2%
Necromancy boosts green DD .35% and Black .35%
So i really dont see why Grey and White magic cant get a skill like this. Maybe even boost the Blue % to .35% even though with Replay Blue gems are awesome.

um, toan...there are 20 angels in the game, that are over lvl 45. thats it. (sadly enough, i went and checked the tops list about 5 days ago to get that number). yeah, thats a really "common" class. sure, nerf us, be my guest, we finally got something that makes us semi-valuable. however, i have also noticed, when i offer to go on boss runs, they would rather take like mdma, kryon or mort...gee, i wonder why, could have something to do with the fact that all of them cast for over 2k damage....

i wonder how many priests are over 45.. prolly about 4
angels and priests are meant for support roles, not killing roles - play the role u chose and if it happens to be a healing class, angels are by FAR the better choice (as opposed to priests) after the nerf.. glitchless tried to make all classes desirable w class abilities, and just bumped the priest class back to the endangered list
also, pup.. i got shafted on all 3 of my toons xD warrior/archer/warlock class abilities FTL!
ps. i dont take advantage of the system.. i pick the best route to go atm and follow it, as always - thinkin about rerollin to angels with their OPd ability now, but wanna make sure there isnt a nerf comin soon
btw thx for fixin the priest class as promptly as u did, team glitch - woulda been very pissed at the situation had i hit lvl 20+ before it was done lol

WOOT! Mena and me got shafted on all of our chars YAY
And i wouldnt say Angel is a support class. In Nod it has a support skill which is Ress but if you look at Pit from Brawl he doesnt heal at all or the angels from Heaven versus Hell in South Park
but enuff of me bringing up useless examples. its just when i think Angel i dont think of a support class i think of a hybrid between dmg and heal

yeah, for me its leaning more towards a healer but pitt from brawl is BFA!
i use him and teh kirbster :P
but back on track, i wasn't wanting a nerf for angels, tbh - was hoping the priest class would get sum of the damage undone (i've never seen glitchless even partially undo a nerf, but there's always hope
EDIT: there needs to be more healers around that play a bigger role in the game imo - almost every other online game (or even offline) healers play a VERY crucial role in any party.. in nod they are very rarely needed/used
if priests got the same, or maybe slightly higher heals than angels, the halved cooldown time would b balanced with the angel's ability to rez chars midfight.
Also the fact that priests cant pick a single friendly target for a stronger heal and are forced to heal the whole party makes it an even worse ability
gunnin for a 4k heal @ lvl 80 here d;

a 4k heal will make the priest have the same ability as before
before patch: full heal which was under 8k usually
after the patch you want: 4k and cooldown is half the time
but lets be real Mena, the revive function isnt great and the ress gem is nearly useless
How many times do you think the Angel ability will be clicked for the revive function in a week?
1 maybe 2 tops. but my guess would be none
And while we are at it lets talk about Ress
How many times is that used a week?
....0, prolly once a month tops
So with that it kinda leads me to believe that the Angel ability would be seldom used if ever and the "edge" it would have would be to save a few minutes rrt every so often

a) high lvl boss fights with a dead tank b) pvp it would be ungodly 3v3 or 2v2
i jus want it at 4k and same cooldown as b4 the patch - it has always been 10 mins or 5 w accel - still a good nerf in there when considerin its possible to get up to 10k+ hp
if angels heal for almost twice as much, and can target a friendly as well as ress them w half hp.. im DEFINITELY going to reroll my priest to an angel - its jus better plain and simple - u said urself cooldown times are arbitrary and mean almost nothing in pvp unless its a 2 min cooldown

I vote no to angels being nerfed. Priest class needed it. Full health was too much.

tbh in all the time ive had classes that could res ....(about my whole year of playing) ive used a res gem about 5 times.....so the angel ability is gonna be primarily used for the heal

ur so emo, faith <3 i do agree full health was too much, but going from healing up to 2-3x as much as angels to about .5x is a bit much
doubling the heal as well as the cooldown time for priests would make it a playable class :P
and pk.. thats cuz u've never hit the lvl cap and gone for 90+ bosses, thats when the rez w half life comes in almost too handy, as well as for pvp
like i said, healers need to play a bigger role than just capped boss killing - im against an angel nerf but want to kno if it's gonna happen.. dunno how else to ask glitchless other than present the ability (they already kno it) and wat it could possibly do (they should kno it as well) - the priest ability was the same type deal but they deemed it fit to nerf priests back to nonuse
i would very very much appreciate any answer, glitchless.. whether it be: 'its a possibility', 'we're considering it', 'its not likely to happen', or 'we have no plans to do so atm'

Support role? That is utter BS. No one wants to group with me except for Kensei because angels SUCK as supporting roles. No one needed healing even before fire and ice came out...after it came out, everyone went beastmaster hybrid and my class got completely shafted. I would love to play the healing role that "my class was made for" oh, except for a very small fact that NO ONE NEEDS A FREAKING HEALING ROLE except when they want to kill black bosses. So how do I level up? Solo slowly on my own, and when I'm high level enough, some selfish piece of **** would want to group with me to kill a boss that he has trouble with.
And people wonder why I like Kensei so much. He's like the ONLY person who is willing to let me play my healing role and take smaller exp just to make my gameplay more enjoyable.
So what supporting role are you talking about? Even fighting high level bosses - People equip a shield with tetsudo and one whip, with loads of gaias, call a necro/warlock and fight. No one calls angels - we don't hit as hard. As Neo pointed out - we have no skills that boost white DDs other than our class bonus, so we will never hit as hard. Our heals are not needed. Our res skill is not needed - no one dies nowadays - they just escape. When was the last time you died?
Now FINALLY angels get to heal for a decent amount (and hopefully are more needed as support roles), and u ask for us to be nerfed. Thanks a lot. Why not just ask Jeff to remove angels COMPLETELY from the game.
Btw, priests healing for a full amount is really over-powered - faith was very very honest in pointing it out. I was foreseeing loads of ppl choosing the priest class, and going as hybrid-beastmaster with 10k hp. They will be 'unkillable'. We all know this.

i wasnt askin for a nerf jus wanted to make sure a nerf wasnt comin b4 i joined u up there in heaven <3
if u think angels got it bad tho, look at the lowly priest now with no damage boosts watsoever..
when goin for high lvl bosses tho 90+, u'll need a healer and thats when the angels around will come into play.. ppl will die countless times trying to take the boss out when it's berserked (especially the 95), and the angel class would be the preferable one to go with and protect ur rrt

I agree with Ives completely about so-called support roles. I'm not an angel or priest either one, but early in the game I was a hard-core tank/healer and it was the same thing. People would want you in the group when they fought high level mobs or bosses, but afterwards they had no more use for you.
Back then we still didn't know a lot about the game and it took me a while to figure out why I was always broke and could barely afford a decent non-epic weapon, let alone pay for all the other stuff I needed. It's because this game is all about killing and killing fast. Nothing else matters.
So I did some timing and the WORST build killed 50% faster than me and the best DPS archers killed 5 times as fast. That's 5X as much exp, 5X as many trophies, 5X as much gold, 5X as many gear drops. Not to mention that it also took me 5X as long just to travel from one town to another just to buy a new gem. By level 25-30 I had enough and said screw tanking, this game is all about DPS.
My suggestion would be rather than the constant debate about which class or weapon is getting nerfed or buffed this month, look at the overall picture instead. From early in the game I saw the problem being with the reward system more than the class and weapon system. The reward system has always been about killing fast. The tanks and healers are just a reward drain for the DPSers, so they aren't needed.
If the game is going to be all about fast kills, why bother with all the different classes? Just have a few varieties of DPS classes and everyone can have a cookie cutter build so we can all admire our reflections in the mirror. But if the game is going to have some variety and "support" classes, the reward system needs to be changed. There needs to be a reason to have a tank or healer in the group other than simply using them for the big boss.
The reward system needs to consider both group and solo fights because everyone needs to be able to solo grind. When the reward system "punishes" the DPSer if they have a healer or tank in the group, where is the motivation to have them grouped? People figured out early in the game that the reward system favors solo fighters, or maybe a couple of DPSers. And THAT is where the tanks and healers fall far behind.
If the DPSers can grind away at yellow/orange and get XXXX exp, trophies and drops per hour, should a tank be able to grind away at blacks and get the same XXXX trophies and drops per hour? Should a good DPS build be so much more heavily rewarded than a good tank build? Or should they both be able to get similar rewards, but go about it differently?
When it comes to healers, I don't know enough about them and don't know the answer, but somehow the healers need to be similarly rewarded.
Sure, having support classes is good in theory, but the reality is far from that. Support classes are second-class citizens. It seems to me that Jeff wants people to group, that he wants the different classes and specialties. But it also seems to me that too much focus is on individual class tweaks, when the focus should be on the larger picture, which is the reward system. A tank or healer can't do what a DPSer can do, but the DPSer can't do what the tank or healer can do either. A *good* healer should be rewarded the same as a *good* tank should be rewarded the same as a *good* DPSer. And throughout this game that has been far from the way it works.

yes, ur point is very VERY good gurn.. couldnt agree more - but..
you can always have a healer using a 2H crush, or red/black DD gems (and ignore the class bonus for farming).. and then save that class ability/bonus for when its needed with a 2ndary pouch/equipset
just like almost all tanks (guardians) go dual crush atm and only use their shield when its necessary
its an xtra couple of skills and pouch/equipsets, but those classes will b vital for endgame (when u get uber) and every1 will appreciate u more since only a few truckers choose to make that sacrifice
just a very viable option, prolly not the only way to circumvent the class's shortcomings

My sentiments exactly.
Everyone told me to reroll when they realised I picked an angel. I was lucky to have met Abel and Twincharge/Kensei very early in the game (below level 10). They were the only ones who didn't mind getting slower exp/trophies/drops just to group with me. Otherwise I would have quit early on.
This is the reason why there are not many "supporting" roles at high level.
We can't compete. We will always kill slower. Nodiatis was designed to favour those with high killing speed. Supporting characters are shafted BIG time. This is the reason why I complain a lot about the skills etc of casters, specifically angels and priests. Because we are completely unable to make fast kills. And the game system punishes us for this.
The worst thing is that the system punishes us for being what we were designed to be - supporting roles.

Just pick a warlock or necro for red/black DD gems. There is no point playing an angel just for the class ability - it is too slow to level up.
FULL 2H crushing is not a good move. Angels get -17% penalty on exp for melee and defense. And 2H weapons are not that great. Good luck leveling it up also.
The whole point is that the killing/leveling speed will STILL be slow. The system still penalises you for it.
The only reason to make this move is if you already have 3 other characters that are warrior/beastmaster/tanker/warlock. Then you can plvl your angel to lvl 80 and play as the 'supporting role it is meant to be'.
Anyway the only reason why you suddenly have interest in angels is because we get a nice class ability (which we desperately needed and which you wanted Jeff to nerf). Otherwise, you wouldn't even have given the angel class a second look. So don't talk as if you know how to really play a supporting role.
Why don't you level up and angel from scratch WITHOUT plvling and tell me how much you like the class?
