Quick idea :)

Ok.. sometimes i go afk for a quick few mins and my group goes ahead and i'm stuck behind.. first off hopefully that doesnt happen.. and if it did my groups a dick :P lol But is there anyway we could get a like Follow command? or is that not possible? Just wondering.. its only an idea It would help alot with group progression gives others time to do something in RL without effecting a group..
There are many Ups for this.. but also many downs.. for instance.. one bad thing is that if a group runs into some trouble.. your dead weight while your gone.. just somebody they have to heal and keep alive.. But also.. if there is a tank in your group.. it wouldnt matter.. but still you'd be a dead weight ..

That probably wouldnt happen because you can exploit it very easily, especially with the auto-cycle through leveling stats. I could create 3 chars, and group them all up, and take them through the quests and never have to do anything for 2 of the chars because they wioll perform all actions automatically as i lead with one char.
Not to mention that implementing that would probably be a nightmare for Jeff because of all the things that would have to go into it.
Another problem with that is that sometimes my groups are intentionally split up for purposes of tracking someone down, which with an auto-follow feature would be entirely impossible.

Now you make me feel like a complete ******* for totally shutting down your idea, so im going to complement you for the thought that you put into it. It would be a good idea for that situation, but there are just too many other factors involved for it to be implimented.

Ok, You missunderstood..

I said a follow command.. not a do everything someone else does command lol.. But yes i didnt think of it like that... even thou its basically what i do now.. group with my other char and kill things and quest together.. auto follow wouldnt make it so i could do everything with 1 char .. it would just make less clicking.. i'd stilll have to get on the other char and hit auto attack and all that and use spells and start quests..
So your cons of my idea are no offence and sorry to be blunt, but stupid. lol
And when in a group you follow a certain person not a group.. so if you died the follow command would be broke and you'd be alone.. and if your group splits up you'd still follow the person you were following.. Not a bad idea but still would have MANY problems and would def. be hell for jeff lol

I think Jeff should implement ideas that make it harder to control more than one character at a time because I like to play one character...

well basically i think the part about the command allowing you to move with the group without doing anything is pretty good as long as when you enter combat it doesnt start auto attacking or casting spells i dont see the problem

Ya if it started auto attacking.. wow... it would be worthless and we'd see 100s of new chars just following ppl around for exp lol...
