Default treasure hunt date/time

how about glitchless sponsering a treasure hunt for every one in nod. levels 1-10 , 11-20 , 21-30 and so on so forth so every one has a chance to find a hidden item based on they're ability to hunt for it. it could be anything from gold to, (though rare) , a time card. it would add some excitement to the game and maybe even some new clients by word of mouth. just set the date and time and wooot...the hunt begins!! every char starts the game with a shovel ( or they could be bought from any store) and gets a little dirty...only usable on the date//time of event. there will be a message (character name/level range) that finds it's item so others know not to look anymore.

Not the way I see it. In fact I think it's a great idea with a lot of potential. And it definitely can add to the marketing value to the game. I think it will be best if the treasure hunt involves searching/digging for unique items that cannot be otherwise found/bought. On a side note, needing special equipment for treasure digging will help the game economy. As everyone will be buying a shovel, treasure map, whatsoever, the gold in circulation will decrease and so will the inflation
Finally, you could have the treasure items in a different colorerd text. Thatlll add to their value for sure...Well, much more can be added, but all in all Oderman's idea has a lot of potential and if I were Jeff, I'd seriously consider implementing it...
