Theorycrafting
perhaps i enjoy mim-maxing too much but the lack of information about the effect of stats irks me greatly.
Namely, i would love to know what exactly each point and additional point of each stat would do for me. I find it frustrating to allocate stats without more information about how the stats function, and how they operate with respect to level ala WoW and the ratings system.
Secondly, information about rates would be great. Namely your exact passive xp rate gain and regen in and out of combat.
If there isn't going to be much support for the first area, i would like to see a possible respec of stats at a later point in time after empirical testing has yielded sufficient information such that i can make better informed decisions about my stat allocation.
While i realize the game is still in its infancy, the current lack of detailed information is intimidating to say the least. After speccing for casting, i found my necromancer to be utilizing gobs of energy after spending 8 levels increasing mana and its regen. Also I took a prefrence for dots which arent affected by a high INT score. while such issues early on arent severe, the lack of information for long term planning makes the skill leveling and allocation bits not as fun as it seemed when I joined.
Lastly, if a further section could be placed or written somewhere describing what each school of magic does in better detail that would be great. Having no experience in RWK and with only basic RPG knowledge, its a bit hard to grasp what each school of magic does. Especially when as a caster you use both mana and energy. From my own experiences I found red to be primarily mana based whereas black was predominately energy based and that threw off my initial stat allocations for my Necro.
Sorry for being long winded and rambling, prob shoulda checked forums before creating a char but thats too much research before diving head first into a game.
