What equipment is needed for what zone?

I'm not sure there is an exhaustive list of this yet. Can we make one? I'll start by listing the areas that you begin to need equipment, and if that same equipment is needed elsewhere, let me know.

Moss Dungeon 1-3 - Torch (T3)
South Dread Mountains - Mountaineering Boots (T2)
North Dread Mountains - Climbing Shoes (MD2 boss)
Halycon River - Raft (T2)
Moss Dungeon 4 - Shine Goggles (T7)
Tempest Shallows - Ocean Waders (MD4 boss)

I got a quick Q for you higher lvls. After getting boots for SDread, I was unhappy to find out that you also need the Mountaineering Boots for pet forest, orc camp, and MD2, and Npass. I can understand Npass and maybe MD2, but really? for pet forest and orc camp? those aren't inclined like mtns are( at least i wouldn't think so )...is that the case with all gear? As in...once you need it for the first zone, you need it(or a more powerful replacement) for every zone after it?

that's not the case for all gear. but consider this - you recall to pet forest, no boots. you have no gates. how do you get back to town? this is why they are required.

very good point still doesn't really explain MD2 requiring them...but i'll keep that thought process in mind. i guess it's just "getting steeper" as you go down...i'll go w/that olol

Glitchie's way of trying to get you to buy all his damned travel gear: Moss Dun 2 boss drops the climbing shoes that supercede the mountaineering boots.

Keep your eyes & ears open. There are ways around quite a lot of the later travel gear...
