Default Auction House

Okay so we all love the Auction House, and are still waiting for the offline auctioning to come out *ehmmm*, anyhow.

Possibly when enetering the AH in the bottom right corner there could be a button "Buy / Sell", switching your AH to Buy and Sell Mode, right now our AH is in the "Buy" mode. When switching to the "Sell" mode, you can choose one of the categories, weapons, helmets, breastplates, etc. and click a button that says make new offer, allowing you to search the NOD Item list of that specific item's category by name, level, and rarity. Then select the weapon and type in your offer.

Example I search in the Weaponry section Level > 15

A list of all Level 15 weapons would show up, including the Bloodclaw.
I would choose the bloodclaw and type in an amount for my offer "20000" gold. Then anyone in sell mode under the weaponry section can see different offers, and choose to "Message The Player" "Complete Offer", and to complete the offer you would have to have the specified item in your inventory.

*FLAWS*

Before anyone says it, only flaw I can think of is, that you can put an item wherever and sell it to someone without them having a say.

Jeff would have to put something in where the items to sell would have to be in a town. Accessible by the player.

Or an option to choose a town for the item to be in.

Good idea, but I have some extra suggestions.

On top of Astor's suggestion, let's also do some reorganization of the AH. For instance, the infamous Tradeskill Resource tab. It is a long, messy, time consuming, section of the AH. I am suggesting what many before me have, separate it into different tabs.

I.E

Resources-Mining(would include ores, geodes, and ingots)
Resources-Hunting(Would include animals, skins, and leather)
etc.

Now, here is a suggestion that seems kind of fun.

Also, let's make the AH a REAL AUCTION HOUSE where people bid on an item, and the highest bid after a certain time, wins. Any losers will have their money returned.

However, such an AH will only be for 5 items every month. They will be put in a special section of the AH and Jeff will randomly put up the most epic of epics.

This AH section will run for exactly 30 days. At the end, anyone who has the highest bid will win the item. Remember, there are 5 items, so it would be nearly impossible for ANYONE to win all 5, will a good bit of Nod upping the ante.

Just my support and a suggestion or two.

Definitely agree with the Resource tab being a bit more organized, and maybe something for a real Auction House.

If that item is truly worthy of being called an epic, yes.
