Arrow Improved Class Individualization

The reason I love & play Nodiatis so much is for the in-depth & unique character development. But, to me class bonuses or Runes just aren't enough to make a character an individual, some of them are just laughable (Aura Classes) or to insignificant to make any difference, and adding more skills just isn't the answer.

One great way to ensure unique and customized classes is Class Specific Skills, there have been numerous popular threads and suggestions about this, and this option would be an excellent choice.

Dual classes is another one, logical, fun, and very in-depth.
The option to choose a secondary class (or to choose your own class twice) is priceless, and leaves many options to work with, a sure fire way to make a character an individual.

Another fail-proof option is:
Marks of Power

Once achieving level 50, all players will be given a list of "Marks" to choose from, each with different effects, once chosen, this mark (You can only choose one) will be scarred into your skin, the effects are permanent, choose carefully...
(Your mark will be displayed in your character info page)
Examples:


Mark of the Warrior
+7% Melee damage

Mark of the Astronach
+7% To all magic damage (DD/DoT)

Mark of the Priest
+7% To all healing gems and effects

Mark of the Lucky
+7% to all crit chances (DD/Melee/Pet/Range)

Mark of the Tower
+7% to all successful hit chances (Melee/Range/Magic)

Mark of the Beast
+7% to all pet damage and effects.

Mark of the Wise
+7% to all EXP gains, passive and active.

Etc, etc, you get the idea.



I believe with a combination of these 3 options, the possibilities are ENDLESS.

Class skills are on the todo list

Marks of power seem like a Rip on dragon marks from ddo to be honest but it is still a good idea if these were put in I might join up again

Say allow people to pick a secondary class at lvl 50 or something

What we all lack is differentiation in classes, this would solve that problem.

I am really surprised Glitchless is not pushing this forward with all effort considering the fact that what makes this game so great and sets it apart from other games is the character development. A secondary class and/or marks of power would only strengthen the individuality and character development which we have all come expect from Nodiatis.

This idea is following the natural progression of individual character development; it is not a question of will it, but a question of when.

It's just an example, but I was thinking when in a tower your sight and range has increased along with your accuracy, if using a bow.
Defense is more fitting.

What makes this game great for me is the Actual close feel it has towards a DnD type atmosphere,The all around Roleplay feel..Unlike the other 100s i have played..Nod has broght that true oldschool feel...Better even then DnD has like in the Storm series..Nod has so much potiential..it seems endless...Altho i fear its infinitness might outlast us...

I like the idea This would certainly turn the game Into something better!
Although you should beable to choose if the mark is hidden or shown imo!
