I'd say instead of Tower, make it like... Mark of the Sniper. For accuracy. For defense, Mark of the Stone. Also... what about a taunting mark? I'd take that in a heartbeat...

Mark of the Distractor
+7% chance to draw a taunt gem at beginning of combat.

Would help those of us who A) are tanks, B) have shields, and C) rarely get taunts out until the third or fourth draw and thus lose a ton of the bonus from the Testudo skill.

I agree that we need some way to make to char's more evolved. Either dual class, or a special marking as described in the org. post. Also clans are like family, there should be rules about leaving a clan, just because you want to.

I agree Ehl, although the marks I wrote previously were just examples, Glitchless would never actually use the names for idea/skill suggestions, they only really use the effects or practicality's.

I got into an arguement with one of my clones, he told all his clone friends about there clones and we had a clone battle to the death, death by clones. How many times can one possibly say clones in one sentence? clones, clones, clones. 10?

dunno if it is to late, but i really like this idea, it will realy push the characters to diffrent and unique builds, but for the names, i think this would be great

Tarot Cards:

The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement, and The World.

could match the base idea, eg:

The Tower : hit chance
Wheel of Fortune : crit chance
The High Priestess : heal %
The Magician: need to say (?)
Strength: melee?
The Devil: damage (?)
The Fool: collecting resuorces? drop chances?
Justice: pkk (?)
The Chariot: something with travel or speed
Temperance: hp?
The Emperor: guild related pheraps
The Empress: complementary 4 emperor (?)
The World: something bout adventure exp (?) xD

just a few ideas

Also; it's never to late, this thread to me isn't just a suggestion, it's the future of Nod, eventually I know at least one part of this suggestion will be implemented.
Especially considering that one part is already on the todo list I believe.

Admittedly, Nodiatis is a very unique game with many build options, but these build option have begun to become so limited due to some behind-the-scenes factors, a dual class, mark's of power (or something similar) or Class specific skills would completely solve all this, and at the same time completely turn Nodiatis into a much more interesting, in-depth, and all around funner game.

oooh, i didnt read through most of that. I think its a good idea and my contribution: mark of annoyance + x% chance to taunt your opponent.

i love this idea if this were implemented it would be amazing being able to link classes would open up new possibilities allowing more people to use things such as the res gem ... i wholeheartedly agree thanks for the good idea

i cant wait for class specific skills to get coded in. i think implementing them will be a great update for the game. each class should have some sort of skill that they excel at. and even if it isnt a new skill, they should atleast get a decent bonus to a pre-existing skill.

MARKS DON'T SEEM TO ME LIKE A REAL CLASS INDIVIDUALIZATION. SURE, IT ADDS A LEVEL OF UNIQUENESS, BUT NOT TO THE "CLASS." ALL IT ADDS UNIQUENESS TO IS THE INDIVIDUAL CHARACTER. THAT ASIDE, THE MARKS DO SEEM TO ME TO BE AN INTERESTING IDEA, BUT DON'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE VANILLA CLASSES. THAT SEEMS TO BE THE ROLE OF CLASS SKILLS, AS WELL AS A MORE IN-DEPTH ALTERATION OF CLASS SKILL NUMBERS.

I.E.: REGENERS RECEIVE DOUBLE BONUS FROM THE BATTLE MENDING SKILL.

THIS SAVES TIME AND ENERGY IN PROGRAMMING NEW CLASS SKILLS, BECAUSE THEY ALREADY EXIST.

IMPLEMENTING THIS MIGHT BE A BIT OF A STICKY WICKET, HOWEVER, WITH HIGH LEVEL PAYING PLAYERS ALREADY INVESTED IN THEIR CURRENT CHARACTERS. PERHAPS A GOOD TIME TO EXPERIMENT WITH A RESPEC-TYPE FUNCTION, AS WELL?
