Default Preview: Skills of the Adept

Please see http://forums.nodiatis.com/forums/ga...-new-post.html in reference to this thread. It now contains a concise list of the changes intended for the patch on the 21st. Many things have been added since the "Sneak Peak" thread and there is something for everyone from dual wielders to craftsmen.

Double Bond - Every point in this skill increases the stat bonus of two-handed weapons and staves by 1.0% effectively doubling them at a skill of 100.

Will this skill be taken into account with enchantments? Will it affect enchantments in any way?

Enchantments are computed prior to Double Bond, so yes it will affect them fully.

Are there any plans to make 2h Whips, Glitchless? If not, I would very much appreciate it being taken into consideration

Replenish - When struck by melee or ranged attacks while auto attacking this skill provides a 20% for staff users and 5% for non-staff users chance of causing you to gain an amount of mana equal to half the value of this skill over 5 seconds with unlimited stacking.

Uhm how is this skill computed? Per point or is it a flat bonus?

I'm going to say it's a flat bonus. 20% flat to staff users and 5% flat to non-staff users. The level of the skill will just determine how much mana you receive off of this flat bonus. At level 100, you will gain 50 mana over 5 seconds, so 10 mana each second.

This is correct.

Anyone notice how ridiculously overpowered shields are? Fading dmg shield of 100 TIMES the skill or shield value? So you get a level 80 shield and this skill to level 80, you start battle with .. 8000 POINTS OF ABSORPTION. Even if it only halves every 5 seconds, this skill basically makes anyone with this skill and a shield completely damage immune for the first 15-20 seconds of a fight.

Combine an archer with a shield, the new PvP skills, and the crazy uber bleed effect from crits .. no one will be able to touch them in PvP.

A healer could stay on par. A mage could cast a daze. A beastmaster could stay on par. ... i actually see plenty of possibilities that make battles more interesting i.e. where tactics play a better role.

And it makes actually epic shields worth something (i'm selling 2 lvl 78 btw :P)

Testudo is not meant to be usable by archers. The description will be amended.

1 Tradable TC From PayPal per Week
Players who are level 10+ will now be able to convert 1 soulbound time card to un-soulbound per week simply by right clicking a time card in their inventory and clicking "Make Un-Soulbound"

Is this limited to anything? Like per paypal account, per 'owner' or is it just per char? Consider a player with 6 accounts buying 6 sb TC's a week. He will trade each char 1 SB tc. Does that mean he can un-sb all 6 tc's (each one per char) and trade them back to the same account as a stack of 6?
