Sense Fear - Every point in this skill will give your pet an additional 1% chance of critting targets below 20% health. At maximum skill your pet will always crit on these targets. This effect will not occur when your pet strikes you.

A bit late on the subject? :P hehe maybe, maybe not since this skill is still locked. Anyway. Sense Fear.
I had a concern about this skill. With the 20% bonus for pets to crit from one whip, wouldn't it be a waste to keep increasing this skill beyond level 80? Plus, let's say my Predacity is level 80, I would only need to raise Sense Fear up to level 72 in order for it have effect 100% of the time. Is this right? Or do these skills not calculate onto one another?


If I'm right, leveling Sense Fear past level 80 is a waste. I would suggest a different effect for Sense Fear. Rupture comes to mind. Pet bleeds are much like DoTs were before Rupture was implemented; They just run their course without you really seeing how much damage your pet crit for at the end of combat.

The new description could be something like this:

Sense Fear - Every point in this skill will give your pet bleeds an additional 1% chance of "rupturing(I don't know, hehe)" on targets below 20% health. At maximum skill, your pet bleeds will always "rupture(insert your own effect name)" on these targets. This effect will not occur when your pet strikes you.

It would be

the chance of one of these triggering = 1 - ((1 - predacity chance) * (1 - (sense fear chance)))

The chance of each would be in decimal form.

It would never be quite 100% until sense fear was 100% and thats only for the last 20% of the enemies hp.
