Arrow Trophys back into Resins

I think the ability to morph thophys back into resins would be rather use full.
Especially when trading/selling large amounts of EXP, among other reasons.

Would be quite simple, just 1 new graphic.
This single custom graphic would always be the same no matter the amount of EXP morphed into the resin, there would be no need to cap the amount that could be turned into a resin, since there's only so many slots in the enchanting rod.

Possible restrictions could be: Must be the same trophys, along with all trophys being morphed into the resin would have to be all 100% spirit or 100% combat.

Once the resin is used again in the enchant rod, and made back into thophys. The trophys would come out in the same stacks they went in as, or one large stack that would then need to be decreased in order to sacrifice them.

Vague example:

Custom resin
Weight: 5 rock
Type:Combat
Total EXP: XXX,XXX

(As long as the multiple resins you craft are of the same EXP and Type, they would be able to stack)

There could also be ways to incorporate a new skill into this trade.

Trophies decay, resins do not. Think about why they made trophies decay, you will understand why this wont be implemented.

suggestion:

sell your trophies for gold. when you want the exp, buy trophies or resin.

These are thing I have already taken into consideration before making this suggestion. Always keep an open mind.

Sporky,
You're implying that trophys decay in order to keep someone from hoarding to many at a time?

What part of this suggestion means, and what I am saying is,
Trophy decay is a useless mechanic, and plays no real role in the game play besides being annoying.

If someone wanted to quickly trade a lot of EXP, or save some EXP for an upcoming new character, this would be a great implementation.

Provide to me one legit reason, or exploit (that cannot be fixed/updated) that would make holding onto some self-farmed trophys for as long as you wanted such a catastrophic practice in game play.

No need to get personal and emotional Spork

I'm not exactly passionate about this idea, just thought it would be use full and practical.

the main thing i think they want trophy decay is it keeps you hooked. it works in conjunction with passive skills and rest time mechanics to keep you logging in every day for minimal gains each day. this is how they get you to keep renewing your membership and slow people from maxing their characters.

if everyone could build a stash of trophies to use at will, they would hoard them and wait for level up to use for minimal penalty. decay forces you to use or sell them. keeps things flowing and slows character advancement through things like tax from trophy sale or hitting penalties because you need to get rid of trophies.

players would stock up on a massive amount of trophies and wait for things like new skills to be added, or cap raise to use them. then, when the skills are added, players max them in 5 minutes and are already waiting for next update. maxing characters faster make players bored faster. bad for business. better everyone keeps working for a few weeks at least to max them.

if i could do this, i would be stocking up on exp instead of putting it into all these trivial skills because the important ones are past where i want em. then when updates arrive i spend 5 minutes to max the character and log off to play something that takes more effort.

Exactly as I stated before, list one reason that cannot be updated or fixed.
This could quickly and easily be prevented.

Put a 3-7 day decay on the actual resins, instead of each server reset decay. Problem solved.

It's an interesting idea relic, I think everyone has to give you that.

But ye as far as I can tell the only exploit is the alt one, which to be honest you can do with trophies anyway.

And ye just add a decay time and there shouldn't be too much of a problem, although 7 days is probably too much and 3 days too little

People can already hoard the exp from trophies. Simple; everyday after they earn a few k, sell the trophies to make more money, they buy a resin that costs as much as they earned. That person then consistently upgrades these resins via the enchanting rod. Eventually the person will be able to buy more expensive resins, when he does that person continues this.

Now, after about a couple of weeks, this person has brought about 50+ high level resins. Now, all this person has to do is stick many stacks of these into the enchanting rod slots, on the left side, and they have massive amounts of trophies.

This would merely make it much simpler than the above example to keep trophies. Also, the 3-7 day decay would be great. It would give people enough time to use/sell the trophies from the resin, without being too much time use the resins effectively.

I"m afraid that changing the decaying mechanic will influence the market too much. Definitely now while tc prices are sky rocking. Leave it the way it is, is my vote.

Well a possible undesired consequence is more gold entering the economy to devalue gold even more.... But then again, who would sell resins to store?

I'm getting mixed feeling about this.

edit:

I'd totally support this if the price is 0(0)
