Default One Handed Spec
Every point in this skill your attack speed by 0.5% if you are using only one one-handed weapon.

This skill should increase value of shield for melee users.

I think the shield buff coming up is enough.

At level one, you can have a 100 damage absorption shield.

Even the Ogre Elite on Traveler's Way would have a tough time eating through that and your hp.

Archer using shield loses 25% of DPS while melee user 50%. This skill should make it even.
