That runes cost rune power is just fine. But that they require dominance & territory is under the current war system just stupid. 99% of the clans make an alt clan to achieve the required numbers. A bunch of rules were invented to make this harder/prevent this, but those rules are nothing but an annoyance, as it's still easy to do. It just demands a bit more organization.

Due to all the 'fake' wars, the whole war system gets a negative connotation. Wars should be epic and people should talk about it in chat when they see the 'x is now at war with y' message. Now it mainly triggers laughs.

I'm fine with an increased rp activation cost for the higher runes (to compensate the gold/rp that is no longer needed for fake wars). But the current way is pretty stupid and not good for anyone.

Agreed. Currently my clan is at war with an alt clan, which has net us enough Dom/Ter to activate rank 2's so far. Actual wars, albeit heart-racing and fun, are too much a pain in the rear when you can just farm your own alts for what you need.

I agree but maybe another system could just be used instead of wars with other clans?
My clan (NoN) hasn't warred yet and its frustrating being unable to use runes without finding a roughly evenly matched clan to fight.
Maybe something like what Sexxy (I think..) suggested.. having random encounters or guild quests which can be undertaken which earn dominance, or 'favour' or something.

It'd be nice to have this turned into an opportunity for some other new aspects to the game.

i think our average level is about 30 right now, we have some mid 40s and some around 20.
I don't know what you mean by RoE though :-( rate of.. enlistment? I know I should know but i am tired -_-

I hear a certain clan will be getting 4++ runes, rank 5, and maybe even rank 5+(+) soon, thanks to alt wars.

As soon as that clan gets those higher runes, not even alt wars would be necessary.

No clan would war them, they would be "uber" and could have multiple alt clans. These alt clans would have alts so they can be "uber" as well.

In the end, it would basically be a monopoly on clan wars.

Now, if you put in forced war, all hell would break loose. Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue? Yes it would be great, but I doubt many of the lower levels would like it. Hell, even the higher levels wouldn't like the monopolized clan chain being to force war on anyone, and kill them without hardly trying.



You know what something needs to be done so that clans have to war someone to keep their runes. Everyday I see people complaining that no one is warring, yet when asked to war that complainer says no.

Here is my suggestion.

At the end of every two month, 8 clans (up to 16) can decide if they want to war or not. If they decide yes, they will be put into a clan tournament. These clans will then fight it out to decide who is the best.

The clans warring will be brought into a closed in area, perfect for PvP. It will be a free-for-all, or if the clans want, they can decide on the rules of engagement and go by those. Such as, 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, respawning, no respawning etc. (add on to this please, kind of out of suggestions atm)

The champion of the tournament will gain the following:
Bragging rights
2500 Dominance (stacked with Dom gained during tourney)
25000 Territory(stacked with Ter gained during Tourney).
25 million RP(stacked with RP gained during Tourney)
5 TCs for every clan member <SB>
50% of all RP from every clan they defeated.
75% of all Dominance from every clan they defeated.
80% of all Territory from every clan they defeated.
But, to make it interesting, the championship clan will be tagged. What this means is that they can be forced to war by any number of clans for up to 36 hours after the tournament is over. It WILL NOT matter if every member is logged off, the forcing can (hopefully will) occur.

Every clan will gain Dom, Ter, and RP from every person they kill. This will be vaulted and handed out after the Champion Clan gets the Dom, Ter, and RP from them.

Also, a High Scores for longest a clan was Champion should be put into place.

This will be how long a clan was Champion starting from the time they finished the tourney and ending when they defeated. During or after tourney, it does not matter.

If a clan can survive a full year, that is 365 days, the clan members that stayed in the clan for that long will receive 15 TCs each, 25 billion gold, and 25 million worth of exp in trophies. The people will receive the rewards the next time they log on. The members will also choose if they want the exp in combats, spirits, or a combination.

i am not sure about the clan free for all rumble...
it wouldnt be a clan monopoly of uberness but it would restrict it to a few clans and eliminate the possability of smaller, lower lvl clans competing.
-this may, in some regards, make sense as they wouldn't 'deserve' ter or dom.. survival of the fittest and all that. but it would lead to a popularity contest in the clans to recruit..
I also doubt 5 SB TCs would be given away as a prize, but the RP, dom and ter i can imagine going to a winner...
also the clan tournie idea i quite like, but maybe matching roughly equal powered clans...

its a hard thing to get to work really.

I am still all for clan strongholds or something though, which require RP to upgrade etc...
