Default Fighting Styles

How about being able to set fighting styles, such as

Reckless: Hit harder at the expense of accuracy and/or defence
Normal: As it is now
Defensive: Forsake accuracy and damage for a better chance to parry/block.

This could encourage grouping because the player being targeted can drop to a defensive stance while the others switch to reckless. In solo runs you'd probably want to be on a Normal stance particularly if the penalites are more severe than the benefits.

It would mean you could kill greys while on a reckless stance, so would speed up that side a little, which probably isn't a big deal for game balance.

Edit: Runescape also has autoattack, certain stat levels before leveling up, and resource skills. Runescape also allows for the crafting of armor, weapons, and other items.

Point is, there is no such thing as an original idea, just a collection of other ideas to APPEAR original.
