Why? It's simple really, they want to make their own to fit their wants/needs.
Long, detailed, suggestions aren't supported by Glitchless because these ideas are ones they can't manipulate easily.
What I don't get is this. We, the players, know what we would like to see and how it to be done. So, why can't Glitchless accept the fact that we like something one way and would love to have it that way. After all, we pay and suggest.
I feel that players who ACTUALLY play the game, we would know what is best for the game in terms of content, playability, and the progression of Nod into a better game.
The lack of letting detailed suggestions being implemented is, what I feel, the cause of the decline of Nod.
The crafting update comes to mind. The crafters wanted either less requirements for epic crafting, or not as many resins. What they got was a bitch of an update that allows recipes to drop. Now, we also have gems dropping, that no one wants.
Why does no one want these recipes or gems? Simple, they don't/can't craft them, they are worthless, basically, and they since these flood the AH, the price continues to get lower.
Check the AH late at night, going by Glitchless server time, and you will see what I mean on most nights. Usually 15+ epic/epic recipes, literallly, and the majority of these are the recipes.
The gems however, haven't been in long enough to flood the market, but they are getting there. Why? They aren't "epic" enough to be effectively used or needed by players.
Glitchless, the playerbase is smart enough to know what would be good. Maybe that "TLC" is something you should start looking into again.
This "TLC" you apparently despise, is what keeps players in. They want to be heard and need to know that the company is actually listening to them, instead of just "picking and choosing", which seems to happen these days in many situations.
I am going to cut my rant short, before I dig my grave even deeper.
