Forum Gold

I think that you should add a feature where you get points on the forum for posting, and eventually can cash them in for gold for the game, that way you can keep the forum active, and help out the players that decide to keep it active :] what is everyone elses opinion on this?

well obviously dont give gold for posts in the uncivil off topic area and there should be mods that watch for spam, they could make it work out, i know other forums that do a similar thing with other games so i though they could make it work to.

It wouldn't work here because we have people who post for the sake of posting, and this posting can't be constituted as spam as they have viable points even if those points do make the subject branch off completely.

Lets start by having proper moderation of civil chat IN game, and then we might try to get features on the forum that requires some kind of moderation to properly work.

alright well whether you guys think it would work or not, i KNOW it would, because like i have said there are other games that do this, and i find it to be a quite helpful feature. so please no more criticizing my topic, it can now be locked, if there is a mod, i just want someone who can make this happen read it not just a bunch of people that are putting it down thanks.

I thought a forum was created first and foremost for discussion.

If you cannot defend your idea, there is a high chance it is not good from the start.

If we find arguments that makes your idea not as good for this game, it is up to you defend your idea with counter arguments.

Asking (or ordering, as you have so far) people not to reply anymore, doesn't help your idea, at best. However it most likely discredits it as well.

And for the record. Its not because you opened a thread, that it is yours.

This is the sort of thing that causes threads to degenerate into nonsense.

giveitatry, your proposal is legitimate, and you are to be commended for giving suggestions, but responding by calling someone retarded diminishes your contribution. Contend on the points and not target each other please.

well there is nothing to say when all they say is "it wont work" or "no" now if you have a reason you think it might help that would be reasonable.

second ALL games are different, what works in one won't work in all (ie one size does not fit all)
