there are a few (more) simple reasons this wouldnt work.

spamming, yes alot of people will spam and yes mods could ban people and blah blah blah. your forgetting though more spam = more time chasing spammers = less time for other things in forum.

multis. why not create multiple forum accounts for the 1 character to post on more then 1 and therefore get more gold?? oo but your going to respond with "but you need to link the forum account with a nod account so that only 1 forum account can be with each nod account". great idea. BUT what about alts?? ill just have my 3 alts "sign up" to the forum aswell. and me and my alts will have a lovely long discussion on something in the forum thats useful and cant be considered spam. that would then mean im getting more gold and abusing the system.

all in all the idea would not work for this game, as unlike other games, you can have more then 1 account here. also the users and community is different from other games aswell. and as each of these change things that will work will change.

You posted a thread, meaning your idea here is open for discussion, whether they like it or dislike it. you can't tell people to only post if they agree. It just doesn't work like that.

Maybe you just don't realize that some of the people answering have been playing this since it was created/BETA, and have a very good idea of the game's capabilities/limitations. I have an idea for you. Back up your OP and explain HOW this would work in a browser based game, that isn't backed by a "big named" game company, and has a minimal staff...

On that note:

they could make it work out, i know other forums that do a similar thing with other games so i though they could make it work to.

well it works on a few other games, i dont know why nod would be any different :\

im going out on a limb here, and im gonna guess alot of forums have "forum gold" as i know it is a standard feature in this type of forum set up, (in admin options you can turn it on). buuut it is kinda pointless, used to buy things like coloured names and personalised titles. thats about it really lol.
