Default Missing Epics

OK so we got the following EPICS

Weapons, Archery Sets, Armour, Gems, Pets so whats missing?????

How about EPIC Tools.

eg EPIC
Wood Axe Rank 1
Woodcutting lvl 10 Required
Minimum Tier 3 Wood Collected

Wood Axe Rank 2
Woodcutting lvl 20 Required
Minimum Tier 6 Wood Collected

Wood Axe Rank 3
Woodcutting lvl 40 Required
Minimum Tier 9 Wood Collected

Wood Axe Rank 4
Woodcutting lvl 60 Required
Minimum Tier 12 Wood Collected

Wood Axe Rank 5
Woodcutting lvl 80 Required
Minimum Tier 15 Wood Collected

the ranks could be replicated for all tools..

what do you guys think.

if they think that preventing the harvest of lower ranks is too overpowered, maybe the tool can reduce the chances of lower ranks

as many of the resource threads i've seen ignored and fall into an endless bump I too see this one falling into that category.

Would I like to get higher tier'd drops when I gather resources? hell yes

Is this the best way? I'd have to say no.

The best way imo is to just up the percentage chance of getting something higher. For example if your skill lvl is at tier 20 and say the current percentage of getting a tier 20 is 1% then up it to say 5% or some other noticable difference. and do that for all the other higher tier's at the same time lowering the percentrage of tier 1-5 drops the same amount. I'm sure you have to equal 100% somewhere in the coding. (also this is assuming your gathering in a zone that can support your max tier)

This is a cool idea but I forsee an issue because I dont always need or want a higher tier'd resource. what if I only need one more elderberry so I can upcraft with my other elderberry to make a tea leaf? and lets say all the ones in ah are 500g ea and in stacks of 20. I'm screwed. I would need to carry around a lot of different axes to be able to get the specific resources i need.

could just give a % chance of getting more than one item, instead of higher tiers. like rank 1 gives 5% chance of getting 2, and so on, with double the exp when you harvest 2. for traps it could be different - rank 1 gives 1, rank 2 gives 2, etc. that way trapping will become way more useful.
