Runes not dropping

Ok well being a person who has played a fair amount of online multiplayer games I have decided to not be involved in clans (I prefer not to deal with the drama) and I know I am not the only person who has made this choice.

I found it insulting that after waiting a fair amount of time to hear when runes were going to be introduced to the game that they would be a clan members only item. To be honest I found it to be a major let down. adding to insult is the fact that I keep getting runes as a drop come off if they are a clan members only item make them have to buy the actual rune with the RP they have been collecting from clan tax.

My suggestion is that runes should not be dropped from creatures or if they must be only be dropped for those involved in clans, either that or make them dismantleable or sellable to the store.

If you make them dropping only for clan members, then you avoid clanless members selling their rune over the AH, and making a profit. I don't see how hard it can be to just destroy a rune or even better, not loot the rune from the mob (the way i do with silks, which drop way more often).

it is indeed absurd coccyx. now, dont get me wrong, after being in a clan, I LOVE the effect of runes, love it so much I've diverted my passive advancement onto archeoruneology in attempts to raise it to level 30. But it is ridiculousthat we cant sell an item of such a high cost to purchase in the first place, (which is too high to begin with) back to the store. It's like the penultimate middle finger to the EYEBALLS. The ultimate middle finger would be if runes dropped in the form of recipies part of the time, like epics, and Jeff came out with runecrafting. Runes need a resale price :P.
