Reducing spam

Spam might be reduced by instating a minimum post requirement (say, ~5-10) to bump any threads older than 1 month.

Is this possible?

Implement it.

Also, clear out the spam posts, BAN the spammer accounts, moderate the forums for spam, and keep a record of IP addresses to find a pattern.

Seriously, the spammers are now doing more than just one post.

another way to remove some spam is to limit the number of post that a user can make per day based on they're forum rank ie auction master seer's bff etc.
