Question for Jeff/Glitchless/Nikita

Hi Nod Staff,

I was wondering how the block chance is calculated.

Does it simply stack up like...

Guardian 12%
100 Blocking 25%

=38% total?

Or is it something like

100 blocking 25%
guardian (.75)(.12)=.09%

=34%

----

I'd also like to get an idea with how parry works, and dual parry, and how the tact bonus gets factored in. I'm not entirely sure it stacks.

i don't think you'll get an answer, they've been pretty quiet as to solid numbers. but unless it specifically states it, everything compounds. so the guardian's chance would probably be compounded with block. as for parry, it's all in the wording. dual parry adds an "extra .2%" per level, so it's additive.

The assurance rune for example fills a % gap in their misses. Really not significant. You still miss around the same as you did before.
