Banned / Favoritism v2.0?

I am utterly confused as to why I was given a 2 day Bann from forums, and a 2 point Infraction. Story goes like this, I spotted a very disrespectful post, aimed to attack one single player in general.
Not only was this post a waste of everybodys time, but it was just blatantly useless and disrespectful. This is a screenshot of my bann/infraction, and the actual post i was banned for.
(As you can see, i did nothing but attempt to help this poster to understand how much of a waste of time his post was)
(Keep in mind the REASON of this ban was "Insulted other players".)


To back this up, I am posting an additional screenshot of the person I had supposedly "Offended, disrespected, INSULTED or somehow violated". As you can see in this Screenshot, he ADMITS his post was USELESS and a WASTE OF TIME, which is simply what I stated, will also mention that he is confused as to WHY I was banned for this.



I would also like to state for the record:
The person whos post was aimed to attack one person in general, was never punished, infact his reputation was increased to the MAX for his attack on Relic.
For me to state that I simply didn't like to read his 2 foot long wall of useless text/rant aimed at Relic, got me banned, and got him +++rep?

If this is NOT disrespect, favoritism, and holding personal vendettas against a few players who frequent these forums, i would like to know WHAT IS?!
Personal vendettas againt players from the actual moderators??
THIS i find very hard to understand.

Moral of this post is, How can one player be praised and +rep'ed for his blatant disrespect on another player,While i get banned -reputation and a +2 infraction that never expires because I did not support his wall of disrespect text.
A huge contridiction of the forum rules.

i always give olsamm - rep and it never got decreased. he must be some kind of new mod or something....
and i dont see nothing insulting there. he probbably reported your post and you got ban. sorry to hear that but everyone knows that forums have become waste of time and place where few ppl use their powers on innocent people.

He is a level 7 player in Nodiatis, has never helped anyone in forums, only disrespected Relic and many others, yet he is receiving reputation from Mods?. . . .

Here, you can see the reconstruction of the type of rulers Britain had during the 1400's, Germany during WWII, and the Soviet Union during WWII and through 1980.

That does seem a little biased, however you have just stated that YOU attacked HIM.

From what I can tell you are a little miffed over getting banned at you attacking him. You also seem miffed from him getting reputation. I find reputation useless and merely an aesthetic addition than a useful tool to help new players learn who to listen to.

What you have reported is one such situation that proves this.

If you try to give Glitchless +rep or -rep you are not allowed, seems a little biased.

Yet, it seems strikingly obvious that all of these posts about favoritism focus on the rep of individuals.

Hey now! I'm on Ancestor's side in this. I don't feel that calls for ad hominem attacks on me.

However, I also don't feel that I was attacking Relic. (Ok, maybe a little, but) I was trying to protect others from his blatant bashing that he was justifying to himself as warranted. And more in general, I was making a call for calm sanity and logic in the discussion. A little respect is all anyone deserves.

And back to the point...where'd all this Rep come from and why was I burdened with it?!

Well in any event, you technically did attack him. You said what he posted was useless and worthless, which means that you think lowly of him and that he needs to quit posting.

However, you did restate what he stated.

But the rules are rules, even if they are very harsh at this point.

The forums have been out of control for the longest time, and this is the only way to control them until the Moderators see that we can be civil.

Fact is, i did not attack him, he was never offended by my sarcasm.
read what the guy has to say. If anybody can call what I said "unwaranted", or an "attack" I do question your sanity and/or understanding of the English language.

He did not feel that you attacked him, however someone felt that you did.

We are not basing your ban on my sanity/beliefs, but on whoever reported you/banned you.

But, your post can be considered an attack as I have previously stated. Worthless and waste have negative connotations and are considered words that are used in an attack on someone/something.

I shall say this, it is all based on perception.

And I suppose my post that was such a horrible and graphic "attack",
was actually worth -rep, 2day bann, and 2 infractions? and all of this coming from you Sherman, very surprising, hypocritical, but surprising.

All i ask is that you allow this case to be heard, without your unsightfull interuptions and constant disrespect.

2 points isn't that bad, try 5. Not to mention they aren't serious, so they expire in a year.

I could redirect you to more vulgar posts that were never reported/infacted but that would be futile to this case.

I am merely just trying to help you see how it can be considered an attack, but oh well.

I'm sorry you feel you were wrongfully infracted. Perhaps it was unnecessary since the person who you were being mean to didn't seem to be offended.
