I can't tell if that was player bashing or not.

However, as I have stated there is no favoritism. It is merely some whiners who feel they have gotten the short end of the stick, and decide to complain that others appear to have better treatment.

Usually, such complaints come from people who whine often, get flamed frequently, and are punished often, but yet feel they are innocent.

Eventually, this thread is going to turn in to a flame war.

I would just like to thank Glitchless, Nikita and Mike specifically, for cleaning up these forums and starting to crack down on the rule breakers.

I don't particularly like Nikita myself. Still bitter over the recent ban that came for ***ually suggestive behavior but what can i do. Im just a player. Forums used to be so much more communal but now its no different than any other forum. Why does jeff have to moderate everything...

Meh, I only used him as an example, nothing personal in it.

However, Jon and Relic were banned for speaking their mind against the update. I find that disturbing at the least, that people who tell Glitchless how they truly feel, get banned.

That just means that telling Glitchless the truth, nothing but the truth, and stroking the ego, is the only way to go.

I am surprised I didn't get banned for my one thread.

You have admitted to breaking the rules, and you have been punished for doing such things.

Civil forums are like Civil chat, even though there are many rule breakers, there is no *** talk, religion, politics etc. Only positive talk on the game, Glitchless, and its members.

See, that's just it. They weren't banned for speaking their mind on the update. They spoke their mind. And that was fine. Then they yelled their opinions. Still no banning. Then they started insulting people who thought differently from them. Then they got banned. (Keep in mind, it wasn't after the first insulting post either.)

But all of this misses the point of this thread. The Original Poster was pointing out how some of us had our Rep artificially boosted by "The Management" while others had it artificially bottomed out. And I think that was a legitimate complaint.

Personally, I think everyone should be able to take some pokes, instead of being uptight.

However, I still believe Reputation to be an aesthetic addition that really has no use. Except now, the only use is causing all of this controversy.

If the only thing the OP is complaining about is Reputation, then I am done here.

I’m interested in what Glitchless has to say. Yes, they owe us jack and I don’t demand anything. I happen to like giving input on how the game could/should progress, but when steps are taken to try and “adjust” how what a person says is perceived it gives the impression that negative feedback has become unwelcome, which, if others feel the same, has a potential to make these forums very unproductive. Not sure if this is what you’d want.
