Unique Items

As has been pointed out recently, epics are now relayively 'common' every paid has them, or farms til they do. How about a new class of item, uniques. One offs with crazy high bonuses, but equally insane penalties? Make the drop rate on these stupidly low, 1% of epic rate? But if you get one, you know you have something noone else in the game has or will have.

I believe that is what the lv 90 + epics will be...since there will be a true challenge to craft.
