Default what do two-handers need?

so the general consensus is dual-wielders do more damage than two-handers. there are a LOT of two-hand buffs, but apparently it is still not enough. so what do two-handers need? i'm going to brainstorm a little, and if anyone else wants to join in that'd be great.

i *really* like the idea of hemorrhage, which gives 3x the bonus to 2h as to 1h. what if more skills were like this?
some examples:
double attack = .2% per level for 1h, .5% per level for 2h.
proc skills = double chance of special effects for 2h.
overcrit = 1% more dpl for 2h.
spec skills = x1.5 their normal effect for 2h.

or how about some new skills aimed at benefiting pvp?
Pierce 2h - Jab. In addition to normal attacks, each attack has a .2% chance per level of inflicting two (or maybe just one?) additional attacks on a random target with a 10-second bleed of one damage per level. a double attack would potentially trigger this twice
Slash 2h - Cleave. .25% chance per level to attack all enemies (or if there is only one enemy, attack that enemy with a double-attack)
Crush 2h - Pummel. In addition to the normal attack, .15% chance per level to attack all targets for minimum damage and inflict a 3-second stun. if only fighting one target, it is a five-second stun

just some ideas...any one of these ideas might balance or even overbalance 2handers. any other thoughts?

Zenga did a post on 2hs and the false consensus that they were underpowered.

He used the famous math trick to prove that 2hs are in no need of a buff.

If this sounds condescending I apologize, just stating the facts.

Strangely enough Klippi, it was your thread.

I never said you said that.

I stated that you proved they don't NEED a buff.

Just thought I would clarify.

I'd like to see some diversity with 2h weps. not a dps buff.

example of diversity:shield.

I had a similar idea for 2h piercers once:

what if 2h weapons acted as a shield in and of themselves? i can especially see staves and spears being used as blocking weapons. maybe a skill called 'weapon block'? could even give 2h weapons a small defense bonus.

high level players to have them on when inspected.

this will make low level players want to use them, they become popular, and all of a sudden people are asking for dual wield buffs.

well a 2H weapon is one of those things in nod that become attractive when you reach the higher levels. Skills like 2H & hemorrhage are great with high success %. At lower levels the impact is way less.

I just equipped the epic 75 slasher. It's beyond my expectations as my skills are far from finished, (nor is my suiting / enchanting. finished, nor do I have any points in ce/cs and nor do i have runes equipped or epics on me) as you can see in the pics. And still i'm able to crit regularly above 500 against reds (at lvl 68).

So yeah, feel free to gimme a buff, but i dont think its needed
