+/- mana and energy
okay, so i am confused. i do not have either of the devamipirc auras on, but floating over my head, i am getting a -1, -2, -3, -4 or -5....while the mob is getting a +3 or +4. does that mean, that the mob innately has the devampiric aura on?

mel, it also shows when you have a wisp lift, or transcendance up. but, there is no reason i should be losing energy, but i am. and the mob doesnt have the icon for the aura above him. thats what i am saying.

the brightarrow fish
its attacking allure in this one. it gained 7 energy, she lost 7 energy, and there are no devampiric auras in play for the mob or my chars
and mind you, i have been fighting in jun river with the two of them, for almost a week now, and allure will always end battle with full mana/energy, cause i do all the fighting off of hopilus. (powerlvling ftw)

My mistake, the aura will not show because the effect of the creature's rune is not technically an aura. That creature does have an energy theft rune, however.

Pretty please remove this "new feature". As if there isn't already enough stuff happening on my screen with Green HP adds and Red HP subtractions and DD gem hits and flashy Critical numbers..... I don't need to be in the middle of combat and thinking "percieve that, percieve this, ignore that one, percieve that..." all combat long. I have a blue and green bar on the right side of my screen, I understand how to use it.
All these constant changes lately, I feel like we're still in Beta with this thing.

sklar, quit your *****ing, its actually a good thing, it lets us know whether or not the aura's and runes are working as intended, plus, it lets us know, if our eternity skill is effecting the wisp lifts and transcendance, and if the druids are really getting a bonus to green magic, etc.

For gods sake, can you at least disable this for balance gems?
All it does is spam the bejesus outta something that was already goin so fast it was hard to read.
Maybe a seperate column?
I just got a constant stream of numbers with no time to determine what was what

Um, why does it matter at all? I mean, there really isn't anything you can do during a battle besides use gems, or not use gems is there? I don't see how anything on the screen is of much importance besides the status bars.

@Hopilus,
don't get me wrong, I understand how this CAN be helpful, such as in your example. But again, the numbers fly by quick as it is, there's just now 2 more (mana, energy) colors I have to follow and decipher.
@Glitchless,
I know I came off sounding like a jerk, so apolgies there. I've spent lots of RL money (as has everyone, yeah I know) and the game has changed a great deal since I first joined. I know you guys bust your butts on the Dev team, its just some "enhancements" are not enhancements for every player or player class. If you can make this an on/off thing like you mentioned, that would be super groovy.

Mike has stated that it only happens on rare mobs, so far I haven't heard of any of those mobs being less than level 70.
Only the high level casters are affected. |
