Default Crafting Stacks

could we possibly make so that as long as its a multiple of that number it will craft the item, like when using the enchanting rod, put in 2 resins get 1 better, 4 resins 2 better, etc etc, so like if we did 10 silks we get 5 threads, cuz the current system is very time consuming

I'd rather see crafting as something more akin to the WoW interface. Not WoW's crafting model, but something you can bring up and then it would determine how many you could make and then you can make one, make X, or make all you can make.

Right now crafting requires a lot of space management which isn't something they game currently does very well. It can be very troublesome keeping track of where everything is and with so many things having very similar icons (threads I'm looking at you) sometimes it would be better to have a summary of what I can and can't make.

it's been suggested several times and we've basically been told no

keep in mind crafting/resourcing use rt/rrt which is why jeff suggests doing resourcing during recovery

Which is also why I suggested that crafting be done in the WoW style because you could continue to take the required time, keeping it in balance with the current system but get the benefits of the UI improvments.

As for the want to play a free WoW. I have no problem with paying for WoW. Certainly it's a good game, but I'm not trying to get this game to be WoW, but interface ideas are different than gameplay ideas.

Certainly WoW wasn't the first game to use the interface I proposed, but it's probably the most popular.

I agree, however i think you should still lose your "rt" when you craft even in a stack. It should just automatically deduct the extra time required to do the crafting and recovery time.

A failsafe should be applied to keep people from being able to craft items above their current Mana/Energy capabilities. but other than that it should work.
