Default Tactician

Tactician====

Most people don't care at all about this class, cause very few play it. In the recent course of classes being buffed, why not buff the one that needs it the most?

To start, Tacts begin with a measly +3% up to 9% to parry, compared to all other classes, this is the weakest benefit (except adventurer who gets his bonus to XP!!) without any additional perks (i.e. DK gets 3%-9% to auras but they also get bonuses to melee damage, and a bonus to all detrimental effects). The next thing is that they get a -9% to def which is where you get your AGI for parry. Ouch.

They need buffed badly!

Here is the thing, Tacticians are prepared for battle, they expect the enemies strengths and weaknesses yet they really don't have a class perk. Here is the idea that Qiana and I had to help make these officers, officers and tactically beneficial to a group (which is would they should excel at):

Give the tactician an aura that makes the opponents a tick or two slower, like a gem slow but for melee and range as well. This lets the tactician observe and react and give orders to his group. They act quicker because of the information provided by this warrior that anticipates his opponents moves.

It brings an added reality to the class and just makes sense for what their purpose should be (Qiana's words, not mine).

Please consider it, the tactitcian is sadly overlooked.

This slow was meant to be at the beginning of the battle only, to not be so efficient and making it overpowered.

continue with your thought Middington, there seems to be an omission, like your idea of who is weaker and used less. As it stands your post has no information.

I'm sure there are other weak classes but this is post about Tacticians being overlooked.

And the !! by XP was supposed to emphasis that it is good. Sorry for the subtly

I wasnt making a point, I was stating a fact. also, your post is about the "weakest" class, which seems to be(for you) tactician (im assuming you play one, shocker). most people feel their class is in need of a buff, but the majority of the time, its operator error. there, no omissions.

Buff idea fits well with a tactition, but it could be implimented as a chance to cast slow aura when hit, or like the archer ambush skill, chance to cast slow aura at start of the battle.

Just depends on how big a buff the class needs.

theres so many trivial classes, Im all for making them on par with the rest, I just dont think one should take priority over any others.

I agree with that, there should be a few classes that need looked at and all considered. Seems fair.

i love how in every single thread, there is a single (or group of) lil trouble-makers, always ready to discredit any idea. No one said here, that tact was the weakest class, and if u bothered to read the post, i think u would see, no one is actually ever recomending a class "buff"...the idea here was to create legitimate diversity in classes, and actual strategy in clan warfare...which, i think any class would agree, is lacking. Simply some fun, interesting aspects in nodi. Yet, nodi is full of ppl who just seem to want to be heard...even if all they r heard saying is; UR IDEAS R STUPID. Jeff, if u actally read all these posts (then ppl, for that alone jeff deserves a big appluase) then plz, just give this idea some serious thought. Ofc, tweek it, as u feel best, but i truly think, this would greatly enrich nodi game play, for group and clan battles...and enrichment of this wonderful lil universe...is all i think -most- ppl who posted here, are seeking. Its depth is what brought most ppl here (it wasnt the 3D graphics im pretty sure) I personally, dont care what u buff or when u do it...i just want a richer, deeper experience. Ty, for anyone who actaully takes the time to read my thoughts, w/o readying a dismissal.

I didnt say their ideas were stupid, I just said tactician wasnt the weakest class(I said this because as quoted, someone did infact say it was the weakest class), theres no reading between the lines there as it was pretty cut and dry.

god, u r just dieing for a confrontation arent u? lol ok we hear u. ur pt is; tacts r great, casters, thieves and vamps all need buffs (or whatever class u are)...u still, im sure, have never actually bothered to read teh full original post (as u told me u didnt)...ur here to fuss about anyone "fussing" about a class...and ur 120 iq is clearly wasted on us mortals...use it to figure out how to get a girlfriend, and stop spamming posts in a thread u never even read

...what about a % of mirroring/reversign the damage to the enemy when succesfully making a parry? Making this like an aura effect, or a triggered effect?

My class doesnt need a buff. And I'm wondering how you managed to miss the OP saying they were the weakest(since you read the whole thing even though I didnt). as for the IQ the lack of a girlfriend and the spamming, well im afraid you just know entirely too much about me.

good idea sir, but imo it doesnt address either the major fault of parry skill (which is that it doesnt actually work on arrows, or spells, tho i dont feel rlly u should parry a spell anyway). And, that it fails to actaully deepen the gameplay at all...i honestly dont think a class "buff" is needed, i want to see a more diverse reality unfold...and i suppose, a delay aura, or imediate affect at start of battle (i.e. ambush) is not only very logical, for the class...but easily programable and creates a fascinating diversity.

What people continually overlook about the tactician's class bonus is that it doesn't only increase the chance to parry, but also decreases the opponent's chance to parry. It isn't weak at all.
