Default Dot damage colors

Hi all,

I think that the damage color of each dot spell should be the same as the name of the condition.

For example the "burning" is in orange so the damages from burning should also be that orange.

Would be a nice feature for those who like to keep up with what each spell is doing.

Default What?

Im talking about the in combat damage colors, not the gem categories...

instead of all the damages being red they come up orange for burning, green for poison, black for toxicity... etc.

it will only make it more confusing gem damage is purple the rest is red

or perhaps pets and bows should also get there own colors on the screen

so as far as im concerned it would only make the game more confusing to new players and doesnt really help

Default Umm

Bows and pets are physical damage like melee hence a red color.

The colors would coincide with the message that pops up. When you cast an ignition gem it pops up the word "Burning" in orange. The damages done from the burning condition would also be that same orange. How is that confusing?

I like the concept. but you'd have to be careful with the color choices as some players are colorblind and wouldn't see the damage at all. it would be nice to see the different colored numbers for my dots as I use both Ignition and Antigenesis.

maybe implement it with a new option like what's used for chat - override damage colors?
