Duel Wagers
At the start of an accepted duel a box could be brought up to place items and/or gold to be given to the winner of a duel, each person could talk beforehand about what they want to risk in the duel, or if neither party wants to wager anything they can just leave all of the boxes and gold amounts empty and click accept. whatcha think?

Good stuff, agreed.
Perhaps an added feature to deathmatches could be IRL death. If you die in a DM Jeff flies to your hometown and comes to your place and kills you. Maybe a waiver could pop up when a DM is accepted allowing Jeff to come to your house and kill you, and avoid any legal issues.

i think its a great idea and it would make duel wagers safer as the loser cant refuse to pay once the duel is over

If someone escapes out early do they lose all their gold wagered (my opinion) or possibly regain some upon escaping. I guess this might confuse things if items are wagered, but... I approve of this idea *thumbs up*

Escaping should count as a forfeit. It's an acknowledgment that, had the fight continued, you feel you would have lost. If you escape, you lose the wager.
And yeah, pretty sure this was suggested before, dunno why it's not implemented yet. Totally should be. 100% support.

escaping....good eye for detail.....
it would be cool if when/ if you could escape you keep all wagered gold/items...kinda like escaping from a pk/pkk'er

Rogue, this is a bet, though. Why would you escape the battle? Because you're losing. The wager should go to the winner, not the coward who won't even see the fight through to the bitter end.
