Auction stacking and pricing

This is along the lines of Optics post and this even might be what you're doing for the change but it is possible that the price we put in is the price per item, not the price for the whole stack?

Also would it be possible to only buy partial stacks instead of the whole thing.

yes it might be a good thing to be able to buy partial stacks as not everyone can carry stacks of 20 or even 15

true but the stack goes into storage for that reason, from there you can only move say 10 from a 30 stack into your inventory and that can be achieved by holding CTRL clicking the stack and entering the amount.

Yes but what if I do not want to buy the full stack of 30. Say someone has a stack of 20 gate pots up and I only want 10. Currently I can't buy the 10 that I want, I have to buy the full 20 and either try and resell the other 10 or just keep them.

if a player can only stack up to 10 they can still buy and trade higher i think.

as far as i know one of my other chars only could stack 1o but i could trade him 15, but when placing into storage i had to stack it back into 10's

well thats good to know that you can recieve stacks bigger then your lvl item stacking allows through trade and auction though still not many will be like 20 gate potions at once it should be possible not have to buy entire large stacks in auction

I don't think stacking was the problem. I would like to buy partial stacks. I don't have a use for 20 gate potions but I could use 2-3 of them at the price they are selling. I also probably can't afford the whole 20 gate potions most of the time so I just wait till some one is selling them individually and buy them.

While we're here, I could be wrong, but should it technically not be called an auction since we don't put bids on the items?
