v1.155 Travel Mode, Emargo, BM Bonus
To prevent exploitation of this new feature, players who join group combat with a creature that is already half dead will receive loot and experience as if they had no rested time.
This is a feature known as powerleveling. This has been possible since the start of the game. Based on this people have bought TC's, upgrades and virtue packs. All in a sudden this is no longer possible, without announcing it in advance.
I feel ripped off. And with me many feel screwed
Besides that, I love the other changes, they are awesome.

Actually this patch yet again altered the exp gains from crafting, specifically artistry tab ? im recieving 1/5, 1/6 of the exp that i wa recieving just yesterday!? ( ACCEL and RRT ON)

ok embargo is not working. i got a invalid submodifier message and it still lets people on my ignore list purchase things.

This whole 'half dead' thing should only apply if any member in the group has the travel upgrade enabled. I'm also getting next to no exp/trophies when trying to PL my alt

Same with other crafting tabs... resourcefullness exp dropped hugely as well.. -_-; a lot or rt going for very little exp...

Embargo will be fixed with a new client. Haven't been able to determine what is causing experience changes in crafting. Any other information that can be given about it would be appreciated.

Resourcefulness skills at least are getting a 50% reduction in exp from what I can tell.
Also, do you have nothing to say about nerfing everyone who was getting PL'd? Makes me seriously think about quitting (ie NOT buying any more TCs)

NOt a huge fan of the loss to exp and trophies as I enjoy helping people level a bit in areas they may be getting pwnd in.
Maybe a change to 50% of drops and EXP as to what they'd normally get? (so in group that would be 25% of what they would get solo)
I don't know.

the exp im getting from crafting is as if i were out of RT. I am getting 66 in clothworking when making threads where i would normally get around 360ish.

You can still powerlevel people, you just can't do it without them losing rested time by joining combat late. Have them join combat the same time you do.

You don't seem to understand the impact of the change imo. No one cares about the RTT, for my part you can take the full amount of RTT off the char being powerleveled. As long as they can join combat in latest seconds.
You really think i'm gonna draw a line with a pen on my monitor over the mobs hp bar to know where the half is.
On top of that, powerleveling with multiple chars is no longer possible.
I rest my case, this is the n-th time you change something that interferes with how we build chars. This without announcing it and in the middle of a game. And because it used to be possible, people made a plan & decisions about how they would build their chars. And this includes irl money purchases. So again, its a rip off.

It has been changed to 1/3 health instead of 1/2. If you're getting creatures down below that point before the person intended to receive benefit even joins combat then it goes beyond "helping" the person and borders on exploitative. You won't get sympathy for having to actually do a little fighting to gain experience.

I think Zenga's problem is how it comes down to health. If you have a low level char with mediocre armor and no shield, unless the monster is green/teal to the higher level char, they will take a MASSIVE amt of dmg if they get aggro (which they almost always do)

My prob is not the armor. The chars can be in combat the whole time if needed. I'll just have to heal them. My problem is that this change comes out of the blue without a warning, and that I have to adapt again my builds.
It has nothing to do with 1/2 or 1/3. Thats a pointless update.
Nor do i mind the RTT prevention jeffs wants to implement.
For me there can be a punish like this:
- if you join combat in latest seconds, you still get the normal xp/trophies/drops, but it takes 1.5x the RTT that the fight lastet for the one that started it. So if a level 70 is 60 seconds in combat, the lvl 50 that joins combat in the latest seconds of the fight will loose 90 seconds.
But its just that there is no indication at all when you are 1/3rd of the mob.
Besides that, the least he could do is give us like 2-3 weeks so we can adjust our builds. No, we do it right now and just deal with it. Fine with me if it was not a game that equals the cost of feeding a few villages in africa.
1/2 or 1/3 = same crap and rip off.
If you don't understand the problem, then i'm sorry but i can't explain it any better.

Oh so you can still powerlevel just fine you just need to modify your build a little and wanted to know 3 weeks in advance. I can't go back in time and do that but I can offer you this lovely picture.
