Atrias, the Scammer

It was about a week ago that Atrias "accidentally" sold his new, what was it? 58 bow? Well, he accidentally sold some newly acquired archery gear to the shop. He asked in clan chat if anyone would let him borrow 50k or so to purchase it back from the shop. Of course we helped our own. I opened the trade window, typed in 50000, and hit Confirm. I also posted in clan chat "50k loan to Atrias". I won't discuss how much gold I, a level 34, make a week, but it is enough to pay back any 50k loans I would have under my name. Atrias, being a level 51, is sure to make more than enough to pay back a 50k loan within a week.

I messaged him telling him to pay me back or I would make this thread. He had the nerve to ask for proof. I do have one witness telling me they will back me up. I, fortunatelly, or unfortunatelly at this point, did not second guess a fellow clan member and did not screenie the trade. Would I seem like a douche if I screenied a trade between a fellow clan member? Of course. Would it have been smart to do so? Now that we know about Atrias, I would say so. I wouldn't have done it in the first place.

I would not have shared this situation with the public if Milfhunter and Atrias had not been arguing about Atrias' past and his "scams". I was not worried until their convo came up. After which, I asked for my gold back, and, oh n0es he didn't retun it *shrugs* It's not that I am in dire need of gold at the moment, it's just the fact that I trusted with him, and if there's something I hate, it would have to be sharing my trust with someone just to have it shoved in my face.

this is the only game i've ever played online where the majority of the ppl werent out 2 scam you. its kinda refreshin and i think we should try and keep this code of honor goin (especially within ur clans..)

I loaned Atrias 30k guess what happened? stupid,duh!!!!

One of my very good longtime female friends on Nod spoke to me a while ago about Atrias (if I say who you will all know her). He kept on begging her for a pic of herself and she eventually gave in(bad idea). He then proceeded to post her pic on the internet ( not sure where ) which she was very unhappy about.So I don't think Atrias is the nice guy he perceives to be.

Atrias wasssssssssssssssssss a friend of mine til he bled out his lady parts and started PMSing.

EVERYONE i started warning you all of this on Friday unfortunatly there were those in his clan who backed him up and said WE WANT PROOF YOUR SOURCE LIES!! well obviously with everythning that has come to pass there are too many corrobating stories and now a screenie of him openly admitting it on chat......to think that the wolpack was going to harbour this scum to defend this scum.......if i had not gotten the ball rolling atrais would still be able to scam people to this day....... I am 21 but it is obvious that a lot of the Nodiatis players are even younger. This is the internet and I myself act stupid and ill-mannered some times so what can you expect of people with even less education and less mature?

Sorry to see this happening, I hope you can get over this Blueack. Shame on Atrias. That is if he can understand what shame is.

I say, quit whining if you can easily make up the gold. Seriously, ignore atrias and let him do his own thing. If people want to be stupid and loan him money, so be it. Why spread the word when there is always going to be a way to scam. Atrias could easily make an alt and do it over. Get over it, quit whining, stfu, play Nod; whatever the phrase you prefer, go do it. Instead of whining on here about some 50k that you can easily make up.

Interesting thing... seeing the some clan mentioned here causing more trouble than doing good.

Anyways on the subject. it is solely my opinion.

It seems that the story is a bit one-sided ?

Since its late and im sleepy i will just make a list of missing details?

1) Why hasnt this been settled inside the WPACK clan? THat could be dealt with some grown up people in there? We havent seen the leader speak at all, yet this matter is between 2 clan members?

2) What was an agreement on the loan? Or was it there at all? It seems that the poster doesnt remember it now ?? Pay up in a week ? Pay up in a month? Is it possible that you have asked him when he just didnt have the money spot on?

4)I've known Atrias for sometime from a very good side, always giving very good prices on dyes, 20% of the market price. Helping newbie people in Nodi by giving away money. Being a secret helper to the N adoption agency (before I started running it) and donating loads of gold just to help people.

Of course not many know this side of his, because he wanted to kept it quiet and not screaming aloud.

From what I and some others have seen he was a great helper in various things (not me, but lots of other players).

5) Do you really think a person of such high lvl, would risk his everything to have it posted here and accused of everything for such a small amount of money? Maybe think of it from a different side a little ? Maybe you have done something ?

6)And last but not the least, WPack has some unclean members still. (dont worry the facts are saying so).

PS. Now it seems Blueack and Atrias are both not in WPack anymore is that the best way to deal with the situation ?

When you do not know what went on within you cannot assume. Jon is correct and it seems there is some bitterness left within yourself, which is unfortunate. Putting a clans name next to an obvious personal agenda is fairly ridiculous as you SHOULD know clans are a team and when someone doesn't play by the rules then they are no longer on the team. I assume you didn't pick up on that before, hopefully you do now.
